You ever find a set of tires you want?

I’ve been intrigued by the tires that come on the new Bronco. Think they are Goodyear Territory M/Ts…but they are not mud tires, the M stands for something like Multi…more marketing BS. Doesn’t appear Goodyear is making sizes other than what the Bronco need, which is strange.

 

I think I'll give the Nokian Outpost nAT tires a go. It'll be a while though. These stock ones on the Pro have been pretty good so far.

 

Interesting. That brand sounds like a cheap clone Chinese company trying to hide behind Japanese sounding name. But it is an old Finnish company that makes their tires in the US. I might consider those too next time around. The BFGs I’m running now will be tossed at the first opportunity…which is still prob 3-4 years away unfortunately.

Nope. They are wearing slowly (dammit) but cannot maintain balance. Same problem I had on my last set. Traction is decent enough so I will keep them until they get loud or the traction falls off.

 

Ah. That would drive me nuts. Is there a chance that they are just flat spotting?

Nope. The truck runs butter smooth for about 300-500 miles after a balance and then I feel a mild shake for another 4500 miles. Especially over 70mph. They look good, they wear good (1/32” down after 10,500 miles) and good all-around traction but I don’t like having the vibration

 

Yeah, that'd be enough for me to sell them and get something new.

 

I have to get some winter tires and wheels for the wife's Pilot. And the Corolla desperately needs new summer tires next year.

I've got to put winter tires on the Sequoia, probably go with the Blizzack LT's that I got for my truck.
Thankfully I've already got the 4R snowflake wheels.

 

You got that right. The Corolla was actually due for new summer tires this year but, between buying the Pilot and the boys being born and me missing the Fountain Tire 4 for 3 sale - if they even had one - I just didn't get around to it.

 

Damn that looks good. I need to do that to mine too.

Nah…I will run them for a few more years. Now that I have a commuter car, I probably won’t put more than 5,000 on the truck per year.
