OK, we have them ready to go. We spent 12 hours at the shop yesterday and 8 hours there today and they are all done. Everyone who has one on order, you should have got an email from us and UPS with your tracking number. Anyone who wants one, they are ready to ship. Also, here is the installation video. Don't judge, I am not an actor and I hate seeing and hearing myself on video. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAYrDuo5CciwfcYaH0yCkmA

From the way I see a lot of guys talk about lack of crewman storage, I bet these will sell like hotcakes.

Just as I thought, I was getting close to catching up with mods...NOT! Awesome product and I'll order once I take care of what's on my list and this storage definitely bumped some items off my list.

    More on the way
Do you have any plans to offer the three bin plastic version with any type of snap on lid? My pup will often ride in the back (with the bottom of the seats flipped up) and I don't want her to step down into a "hole" created by the space between the stuff I would have stored in the bins. Snap on lids would be a nice cheap accessory for that product

We are working with a company but they are SLOW. Getting annoying. As soon as we figure something out we will post. I am in Texas for the month of August doing a Hunter's Extravaganza so not much in the way of R and D right now.

    Thought I'd post an update...

    IMG_2941 copy.jpg

I received my storage box right in the timeframe promised by ESP when I preordered. The box appeared to be well packaged. There was a small chip in the powder coating on the corner of the lid, but nothing I'm going to lose sleep over. Also, the replacement seat rails were packaged in cardboard and shipped inside the box. The box is shipped with both lids closed and locked (4 sets of keys outside). The problem is when you try to unlock one of the locks, it doesn't want to swing to the unlocked position, because the cardboard packaging is keeping it from opening. I originally thought I got the wrong key for the lock because it didn't want to turn, but I eventually forced the lock open. The powder coated rails appear well made and are very beefy compared to the OEM ones.

I watched the installation video before starting and primarily referenced that video over the included paper instructions during installation. I won't go into too much detail on installation because the video is so thorough and pretty much covers every step. I will point out a couple things I experienced that could improve the installation.

    1) The video says to push down and out on the seatbelt covers. I unsuccessfully tried this for several minutes before realizing all I had to do was pull a little on the side of the cover and it came right off.

    2) The video says when installing the new seat rails to make sure they are parallel. Now, each of the new seat rails has a threaded hole that a bolt screws into to lock in the box. The holes in the bottom of the box are spaced at a specific dimension (don't remember the dimension but you can measure before installing). Based on the video instruction, when I installed the seat rails, I put a lot of effort into making sure they were parallel when I should have been focused on making sure they were spaced at that specific dimension. As a result, the rails are maybe ⅛" too far apart than the holes in the bottom of the box will allow for both bolts to be attached. Of course, I didn't realize this until I had the entire truck put back together, so instead I will have to drill out a larger hole in the bottom of the box.

Total install took me about 3 hours without help. I also got a little OCD when I was cutting through the carpet and styrofoam.

I also ended up taking inside measurements (they are slightly different than measurements listed on the website) and ordering some custom laser cut foam from Case Club which I thought came out very well. This set me back another $120 but is well worth it in my opinion.

Overall I am happy with the product. I think it's well made and I'm very pleased with the ability to lift one seat and the lid below without having to open both sides of the truck. I would definitely buy it again without hesitation.

This post is long over due!
I received my long box from ESP at the end of Jul.
I have to say that customer service that Earl provided was phenomenal! As far as the box itself is just what I needed. The installation was very simple and the video to follow is what made it simple!
I did have mine modified a bit as it is used to house all my radio and computer equipment, even had room left over for the rifle. I had fans installed on each end to provide cooling air for the equipment.

Well, I actually installed it like the A10's were built for the air force - gun first and built around it!

This box is perfect as I am an amateur radio operator and am a member of REACT which we work with Emergency Management and local law enforcement.

I'm still weighing my options, but I've got a few ideas in mind.

Thanks for the write ups. Did it look like it was damaged in shipping? I put all of those together and did not see any chips. I did have one that is still here n the shop that had a flaw in the powder coat so I sent the lid back. Sorry that happened. If you get some flat black touchup paint it will hide it. If it really bothers you, let me know and I will work something out with you.
