    We towed our camper with Tundra and camped at Tellico Plains TN to take photos of the eclipse. The weather was 90F and clear during the eclipse.

    Very Cool! I believe we had 97% blockage here in West Yellowstone.....luckily everyone headed south to Idaho for 100%.....literally a handful of cars at our designated eclipse viewing area......

    Thanks for the kind comments!

    There were over 350 people at the campground for the eclipse. When the Sun was fully eclipsed many folks started cheering and clapping. It was very dark during the full eclipse and all of the insects you normally hear at night were very loud while it was dark. Only time we have experienced this type of event.

    We went to SC. Same thing, cicadas started chirping. Birds went away. Stars out. My daughter's already planning 2024.

    I took the family up to Oregon to get within totality. I took some poor pics with the cellphone that probably aren't worth posting but what I saw in person was amazing. Thinking about taking a vacation in 2024 to see the next one. If memory serves me correctly in 2027 there will be an eclipse crossing over Egypt ... Can you imagine taking in the eclipse while at the pyramids.

    We have not been out of North America, but hope to be camping in Indiana to see the 2024 eclipse. Seeing an eclipse from the pyramids would be a sight to behold.

    Used a Canon Powershot camera, made the Solar Filter with a UV filter and Solar film cut to shape, held the filter in place over the lens, except during totality and used a 6' step ladder as a makeshift tripod:
