Make sure you select the correct cab type. They are sold in pairs (left, right) for the front doors and back doors, or you can buy all four for the doublecab.

Thank you. So the front door on the access cab is the same front door on the double cab? I never knew or thought about it

They list the OEM part numbers so you can cross reference I believe. The AC And DC doors are not interchangeable but maybe they share the same bottom trim pieces.

Back on the rack again, new wheels. Should’ve trusted my gut and got these from the getgo. Spendy lesson. I suspect others will hate this shit, I love it.

And holy shit. I got under the alignment rack with their tech and I’m slinging a shitload of grease! I may diff drop after all. Definitely should re-clamp the inner boots.

PS - new wheels with 1/4” more backspace and half inch skinnier width fixed all mudflap rub issues. (Nevermind - still rubbing)

    Old wheels 17x9 @-12 (4.53 backspace)
    New wheels 17x8.5 @ 0 (4.7ish backspace)

Got tires rotated and balanced, asked for 38psi all around, truck came out, and tech said it all looked fine(my tires are pretty bad) and we aired them to 35.
    35? I asked for 38……
    Oh sorry
Ok I guess I’ll swing around and have them fill them to 38, bye

Good luck diagnosing it. Will wait for you to put on new/adjust clamps to see if it works for you. : ) My truck does this on the inner CV axle boots. Had it on a lift with an experienced Toyota mech and we have NO IDEA where it's coming from. No cuts, rips, pinches, nada. Couldn't get any to extrude from just hand-manipulating it. He advised me just to keep an eye on it; the boot "feels" full of grease, but you never know.

Honestly y'all, I'd just get some damn vinyl wrap off the scAmazon in matte black or satin black and wrap yours. Strip off the old black paint then sticker it up.

That's where mine is, I'll post pics when I think about it.

Their head wrench was basically, like, "Doubt you need axles, honestly, you may just want to re-clamp the boots. You don't need the Toyota tool, just this tool (walked me over to his toolbox, showed me the tool). And you may want to re-pack in a little grease. And honestly, you may want to install a diff drop if re-clamping doesn't do it, it'll help with the angles..."

He also showed out the bushings on my steering rack are a a little fudgy, grabbed the wheel on the alignment rack and pulled in and out to show the play.

Have no clue what my new alignment numbers are; they only adjusted the toe and refused to touch anything else.

Honestly, just not a fan of the color, but with all the other red in there right now, I don't care anymore.

But I'd prefer not to reboot, I'm too f'n lazy to pop the CV axles out if I'm not replacing them.

Im assuming Shifty already upgraded CV clamps. Oem ones are worthless. Also, to the other member, dont forget to cleam the area you Inner CV's are clamped too. Easy to leave grease on the lip and it will prevent any ( non way over tightened) clamp from sealing up the CV.

Its easy to forget and you will always get grease on the lip when re-packing or adjusting CJ boots. Also. Wash boots with soapy water and inspect for rip. May be hard to see a "slit" in your boots without careful inspection. Cheers
