I was referring to the lengths of time it takes for non-Europeans from certain areas of the world to get visas, obviously a non-racist like yourself will take it up with your congress-person so that all immigrants take seven years to get visas. There are racists, and they are idiots, but the "systemic" rhetoric is a boogeyman. That's the part I was referring to.

As for my part of paradise, 40 years ago skinheads tried to move into the area and local LEOs ran them off. Pretty sure they did it illegally, but it was made clear we didn't want that shit in our small towns and nobody was sad to see them go.

and your 'perception' of events in your area and subsequent 'comment(s)' regarding the same need to be 'forgiven' because your opinion is merely based on YOUR experience in your local area in dealing w/Americans...

No 'homegrown butthurt' here, but you're lumping me and others into this label w/o a reasonable basis. If you think all Americans are racist (regardless of where that opinion originates), then you should probably just see yourself out and find a country that lacks racism to the degree you seem to believe exists here.

So we dropped my 17yo off at college about a month ago. Apparently he is enjoying the meal plan. He's put on 9lbs.

To put a bow on it; I'm realizing more and more we're in a power bubble up here. Most appliances here are electric and we sell a lot of excess power to other markets.
I stand by all my points but they probably don't apply to everyone.
