Anyone know how to disconnect the block heater. I need to unplug it some how to get my front end off for a grille swap. Thanks

Trace the cord into the passenger wheel well from the front bumper and open that wheel well from the front to see where it’s grounded to the frame, disconnect it and you can keep that section of cord with the bumper, then reconnect after it’s back on.

What block heater?? I never found that option in any package for my Limited. I want one but figured I’d have to go aftermarket. Anyone know of a good and easy install heater? (No, not a 100W lightbulb in the engine compartment - lol)

I think they are mandatory in Canadia. There are several threads with part numbers in the forum.

Not mandatory in Canada. You have to pay for it as an option. However some zones have them automatically applied to the vehicle configuration but you still pay for it in the end.

Same. I'd love to install one on my limited.

Depends where you are. In Alberta it’s mandated new cars are sold with them. Figured it out! Got my pro grille on and my DD bars in!
