2023 tundra limited hybrid.

brand new 2023 tundra limited hybrid die on road while I test drive with salesman. Engine light came on and truck was unable to start. Dealer said the the battery is low.

It's possible as I've read about all the hybrids still relying on a 12v battery to run the ecu and such. Ford forums post the same as you due to a short lived 12v battery on a new truck.

 

Did you take the opportunity to make an offer on the vehicle and get an outrageous deal?

 

The sale manager offers $4000 off windows sticker but I was scared of this truck. Because he said the truck start without do anything and no more engine light after the next day. To me, it sound like this truck has intermittent problems
If the battery is low, it couldn't be started without do anything.
