Nothing is going to dramtically drop in price. You will see the obvious adjustments when fuel goes down if that retarded war ever ends

I saw a brief interview with the CEO of GM. She had the balls to pretty much say that the workers that enable her to get paid 30 million a year dont deserve a raise. Now I dont 100% agree with what's going on but let's face it, the rich just keep getting rich and us, well you know. The whole system is fucked. Price of stuff goes up=people want more pay=rich people have to raise wages=rich people raise price of stuff again to maintain their wealth because they are fucking stingy. It's a cycle and the government doesn't help either by printing money like its monopoly money and giving it away.

Good luck. Wars make people rich. The US has only been conflict free for 15 years out of the 245 odd years.

It was a single axle, short box. Had air bags too. Seeing those fuel prices hurts! Last Saturday 87 octane was $3.09 and 6 days later it is $3.24!!!

That would be nice! TN has better fuel prices for sure right now. My coworker just built a house in Kingston and was showing me the fuel prices. Two years ago when I was in your home town it was more expensive than CO. Interesting how fuel prices swing so much.

I don't worry about 1.00 per gallon fuel price swings. I can drive my Lexus that gets 25-28 mph or my truck that gets 20-22 mph. It really doesn't bother me much on the fuel cost difference.

If memory serves Canadian dealers aren’t allowed to sell to US residents and vice versa. This is often a condition of the franchise agreements.

I have called 10 different dealers within 300 miles of me in California. Northern california dealers are delusional, asking minimum 6-8000 over MSRP (some even more) and not even willing to negotiate.

Southern california is different. The deals I have been offered so far are

    1. 2000$ markup, TRD Pro Terra red with a bedstep
    2. TRD Pro grey with tonneu cover + some accessories at 77... But 2000$ mandatory dealer installed ceramic coating + other silly stuff making out of door price of 79500, but "no markup"

I am now looking at Lunar rock or red TRD 3" lift limited too. They have no markups and are around 73-74K. Installed accessories are usually the 700$ steps of the 400$ bedstep (could not find ones without all that crap)

Agree. Fortunately I don't worry about fuel prices (I don't like them, but I don't change my driving because of them). Same thing here, I drive my wife's Lexus if we are going on a longer trip and need to get better MPG's. I drive my truck for fun, and not always with a light foot! :burnrubber:

That's possible, then get a Canadian friend to buy it for you and transfer ownerships once you get it off the lot. I know there no laws that prohibit cross border shopping in both directions, so if it's the dealerships trying to stop this then treat it like a day old used vehicle.

In 2009 a buddy of mine bought a brand new Tundra from the US. The exchange rate was more favorable that time and he saved thousands. Most likely dealerships caught on and found ways to curtail that.

im Canadian. When our currency was at par lots of Canadians bought in the us.

“It’s not right” Said the Canadian car dealers. “It’s not patriotic” “we are a family business looking out for Canadians”

now our dollar is weak compared to the us these same “patriotic Canadian family businesses that look after Canadians” have no issue selling down to the us.

we could always (and, still can buy us vehicles). Some companies threw up hurdles (wouldn’t honor factory warranty in Canada of car bought in us) and other hurdles (couldn’t buy brand new so dealers would “sell” to a 3rd party and 3 months later sell the, same “used car to Canadians”.

Makes me sick. Look I don’t care what people do, but you’re in or you’re out. Can’t have your cake and eat it too. Car dealers are some of the most grimly, greasy around. Everyone has to eat, and make a buck but can’t have it both ways.

The us dealers didn’t care. It was the Canadian dealers crying fowl. The same Canadian dealers selling used cars down to the us.

russia’s income is dependent on price of oil. They are richer today than 4 years ago.

the western countries like us, uk, germany are chosing financial suicide.

This is only for Trd Pro though, all other tundras including hybrid are now at msrp and 23s are below msrp.

But yeah let's wait a couple of month to see if Trd pro pricing will start to go down a bit if they'll keep sitting on the lots

My tundra will hopefully arrive end of this month, or beginning of October. Once I take possession and write the cheque you can be assured prices will plummet.

    your welcome. Lol

It might not be a thing with Toyota.

I just remember it from back in 2005 working for a BMW dealership, we couldn’t sell to certain customers based on their country of origin. Pretty rare situation to be honest, and usually only happened with some limited production model, where some dude in Canada, Mexico, or further away where there was a legal mechanism to import a car to their country would inquire.

For all I know it’s not even a thing with BMW anymore.

Would there not be an import tax on vehicle purchased in Canada and brought back to the US?

At one point I’d driven (not owned) just about every early 2000’s BMW you could name as well as a bunch of other stuff taken in on trade. Now that I live 5 hours from the nearest dealer, and I like keeping cars/trucks long term you couldn’t give me one unless I was allowed to immediately sell or trade it.

if the vehicle was made in Canada, Us, or Mexico there’s no import tax. Just 5%gst tax and applicable provincial sales tax.

Yes, they will. There are lots of dealers with TRD pros sitting on the lot for over a week (rather than being sold then still in transit). It appears that the production streamlining at Toyota is making things better.

i am gravitating towards trd offroad package, but I guess trd pro is where the heart is.
Lets see what I go for eventually. Don't care about the 3" lift much though so at 74K would rather go for TRD pro then a loaded limited

Value of the Ruble is at the second worst value in history. I would argue they are richer. Oil profits are higher no doubt, but overall, Russia is not.
