Thank you for the privilege of being a new member. New to Tundras and looking to purchase one of the last year 8-cylinder Tundras. It will be a daily driver and would like 4x4 for snowy conditions. What is the best trim? If there are prior posts of this question, please kindly add them to the thread.

Trim is entirely personal preference. I didn't want anything above the SR5 trim because it had everything I really needed.

Higher trims also generally come with 20 inch wheels which most people do not want and change out.

You can't go wrong with a 2nd or 2.5 gen. Take care of it and it will take care of you!

I have to agree on the SR5. Just enough safety nannies to irritate you, better payload (slightly) and less to go bad.

My only additions are the anytime backup camera and the one touch window switch mod. Make sure you get the 38 gallon tank package.

Thank you Retired sir. This is purely cosmetic but do any of the SR5s have color match bumpers?

My 2018 SR5 came with a lot of chrome on the front (which I didn't really like). I switched the parts out for color matched parts (including the mirror covers which were black originally. Here are before and after photos.

I don’t mind the chrome. For me it was that saddle leather. Get the 1794. Barcelona Red only if you want people checking you out all the time. It’s a head turner.

welcome, please don’t complain about the fuel mileage of your truck after you get it, it’s a big heavy truck and the mileage sucks.

    Welcome.

Blazing blue is where its at!!
Color matching the hood bulge and grille surround is huge in changing the look. I blacked out my bumpers and have preferred that personally.
