I’m looking at buying at a 21 Trd Pro at a Chrysler dealer. The carfax report doesn’t show much other than registration renewals in Canada and when it was bought at an auction by the current dealer. Anything I need to be aware of? Has anyone ever bought an extended Toyota warranty after purchasing one from another dealer?

Check for rust. Canada has very salty roads in the winter.

Edit: Unless it has lived on the pacific coast. Does it say where it was registered?

Are you in Canada? Will the vehicle stay in Canada? Is it a legit PRO? Several posts lately with non PRO Tundras being sold as PROs. If buying a Canadian version and bringing it to the US, I believe the speedometer is in KM and is not easily converted to MPH.

Is the bedside stamped TRD PRO or is a decal? It should be stamped into the metal and the seats should be stitched TRD PRO along with the floor mats.....if they are still there.

Any pictures or a link to the dealership?

Switching the speedometer to MPH is pretty easy, other than the analog dial, but it shows both. It’s also not impossible to swap out if you can get the right part number.

Canadian-spec TRD Pros will come with parking Sonar and BSM that the US-spec didn’t. Conversely, the Canadian-spec seat heaters aren’t “integrated” into the climate control but rather look like they are aftermarket. Not sure the CA-spec trucks have Auto-AC either.

Honestly, it looks like a clean tidy specimen. I don't know the complications of bringing it into the US to get it registered and inspected so check with your Motor Vehicle Dept or call AAA if you are a member. Call your local Toyota Dealership and ask to speak with the Service Manager and ask about warranty and recall support for Canadian vehicle. Just a little homework on your side and you can be well informed if its worth the purchase.

Low miles and clean, I would ask them for some undercarriage pics and if it looks clean, snatch it up.

That’s seen some salt, not terrible though. My 21 doesn’t have any rust like that.

a few other things standing in ... for now.
Yeah, it’s been bathed in salt some but nothing concerning at this point. Looks superficial, a few more winters in that stuff and it could be a different story. I spent time in the Midwest. Illinois likes its salt too.

Doesn’t look too bad to me. It’s Canada spec (Sonar and I’m sure BSM too) but the seat heater controls look like the US models. Instrument cluster looks to be in MPH as well.
