Definitely. Or, at least, the social event involving Toyota trucks formerly known as San G.

The roadway is closed between San G campground and Big Bear so-- added to the historical run of campground closures and event cancellations-- several of us are exploring alternatives to camp. If Oscar moves us to Holcomb Valley Ranch, the entire event could go on. Otherwise, if San G campground closes, it'll probably be as last year, smaller groups camping and running trails together. Last year we were divided between HVR, Heartbar, and the free camp near Holcomb Valley, which is first-come-first-to-claim.

Despite several of the 1st gens committed to arriving Thursday, instead of grabbing that free camp, we're still looking at the ranch. It's beautiful, quiet except for our own activities... and we keep hoping it'll be a new "home" for the event, if San G cannot host us.

Everyone needs a full size spare. Or two. Or four, if they're $25/ea!

I really wish Oscar would change the date to something earlier in the year when the odds of closure aren’t always so high. Wish I knew what is holding him back from changing it. I get it’s not “official” this year, but it could so easily be changed to a different date or moved like you said to Holcomb valley ranch. I saw the pictures from last year, looks like a pretty spot.
Although fingers crossed San G doesn’t close down, I really love the social aspect of seeing so many people I like and others I haven’t met yet all at once. Plus the big party Saturday night :drunk:. This year is going to be interesting for me. My cousin is getting married the Friday this all starts in San Clemente so I’ll be partying all night, then waking up early Saturday to run up and meet up with you guys to join in on some trail fun :D

    There’s never enough
Start making furniture out of them, maybe stack 2, put on a glass top, wham coffee table!

Post showing my part number from my order for my 01 which should be same as your 02 but not certain. You would just need the joints not the bolts.

I try to be knowledgeable in the ball joint category but I haven't been able to buy and install ball joints in every year first gen to ever be sure what everyone needs. Wish there was a good way to know for certain what changed in which years to know for certain.

As your truck and mine are littermates, even down to TRD alleles, the part numbers should be the same.

    Verified, same as @NickB_01TRD.

did they come with new protector boots?
& the 9011910933 comes up as the 'green' bolt on toyota parts deal.

the 9008010066 that you ordered show the flanged head, but just says new.

    9010510505 comes up as gold.

they going for the bait & switch?

FWIW, there was a study back in 2019 that was pointing to beer having even better probiotic function than yogurts like Activia, etc.

    https://www.travelandleisure.com/food-drink/beer/probiotics-gut-benefits-belgian-beer

And it saw a recent boost from (another?) study concluding the same recently

Only specific types of beer mentioned in that first article and only one per day. Alcohol can also cause leaky gut syndrome which is anything but good for your gut health.

Give this a listen if you get time.

Sounds super sexy though eh.

I'm not even drinking one a day these days, beer-wise, and no booze. Even if you average out what I drink on days where I may have more than one, it still doesn't come out to more than 2-3/week.

That's where I differ from so many of my peers. I know science as the language of actual physical reality.

Science isn't truth. It's our limited understanding of our observations. Often times it is a direct reflection of reality, but sometimes not. The idea that we understand everything we observe has been disproven over and over again. Wait 10 minutes and like the weather, our understanding will change and the "truth" will change with it. We (human kind) has been here like 12 minutes, what do we know?

Wiper blades, OEM part numbers, where to buy, come up a zillion times I think? I will go measure mine, I think I have fancier housings which should fit oem blades, like the premium OEM style option that I swapped to when I got the truck back so might be a longer insert than the stock setup? My pal put some tricos or other crap on at some point or maybe I did, so I wanted back to OEM.

I found the inserts for both tacomas easily, just need the tundra.

No one commenting this morning has mentioned "truth" or "observation". I mentioned the language used to express currently known facts. I concede that, sometimes what we know changes when new facts are discovered.

I think it's super bizarre how many people ignore long-established facts because they want to dismiss all "science".

I skip OEM personally. Trico is typically the best bang vs. buck, but after using my Bosch Icons, it's all I use on any of our cars and our immediate family's cars, since I typically do all the small work for them.

Was hoping for a cool 70s week but only 90s for the remainder of the week while I’m out.

I’m thankful it hasn't really gotten over 95F this year.

Bosch blades are awesome. The last set came on my truck when I bought it in January of 2016 and lasted until January of 2022. We've received 50-60" of rain the last several years.

Literally the opening line: "While officials say it's too early to know if the extremely spicy chip contributed to the 14-year-old's death, doctors say ingesting its ingredients can cause dangerous side effects."

That's called hype and speculation, not news. I hate garbage like that gets passed off as legitimate "news" these days.
