I changed out my supposedly two bad coils today. Time will tell if the problem reappears and i have a bigger issue that may require an O-scope to validate the ECU is trash. I’d probaly go through and clean up any ground corrosion before i do just to eliminate that as an issue.

After that it may get rolled off a cliff. :bananadead:

Yesterday, I installed a pair of fenders that I had bought and painted a couple of weeks ago. I'm not much of a body man, but my panel gaps still look better than Cybertruck!

I second this. Although, we've had a hell of a lot of good inventory within 100 miles of ATL recently.

Yeah, white won't work. Even with a 5.7, being white it would still be slower than your 4.7

5VZ owners rejoice! Magnuson has updated their supercharger to the gen 3 version from MP62 to TVS1320

    https://magnusonsuperchargers.com/p...percharger-system?_pos=1&_sid=112d1e97f&_ss=r

For comparison the MP62 produced a 25% increase in HP/TQ.
While the TVS1320 produces a 42% increase in HP and 23% increase in TQ

    Gen 1/Gen 2 -- 237 HP, 275TQ (MP62)

    upload_2023-9-1_22-19-17.png
    Gen 3 -- 270HP, 270TQ (TVS1320)
Still no intercooler but they claim the gen 3 is maintenance free which is new.

No but it's recommended you lower the truck down and cycle the suspension before you torque everything to spec. That's what I did. I may not be explaining that the best but you probably get the idea.

My old one had a puncture in it and all the freon leaked out. Easy to replace, just move the trans cooler and other parts out of the way. Normally if you have any freon in your truck this isn't something you should DIY. If you don't have the tools you'll need to get the freon evacuated by an AC shop.

Yup. Errr'y time. That definitely isn't why they wouldn't come out. I just couldn't manage to finagle things together. I've at least got another pair of unskilled hands available today (son, wife) that can help hold new adapters in place while clamping stuff if needed. But if I can't manage to find a way to point the knuckle outside the wheel well enough, I'm just pulling the f'n knuckles this time. Got a full 3-day weekend and nowhere to go, I'm not sick and on drugs this time, just gonna take my time and hack through one step at a time. Ugh, I sound like an old fart, man.

Yeah, given the rust bubbles I'm seeing above the rear driver's fender, and the hints of orange I'm seeing on the frame, and the lack of frame or engine bay pics, I'm guessing the frame is not @shifty` approved.

I know the trucks with fender trim instead of plastic flares will sometimes rust there naturally, but ... shouldn't be the cast with plastic fender flare bedside.
