CrewMax and Crew Cab bed differences.

Ihave a 2019 Tundra CrewMax with a 5 1/2’ bed. I’m looking for a camper shell and have a few questions.
Did the Crew cab only come with a 6 1/2 ‘ bed?
Is there such a thing as a crew cab 5 1/2’ bed?
The reason I am asking is I was wondering if there is any shell that came off a Crew cab that will fit a CrewMax.

 

They are actually called double cabs and no, they didn't come with 5.5' beds. They did come with a longer bed though.

 

Yep, double cabs only come with 6 1/2' and 8' beds. The shells will not be interchangeable.

 

The crewmax model with the huge cab and tiny bed is the only model with the huge cab and tiny bed. So, when shopping for new or used camper shell, just type in 2014-2021 crewmax 5.5' bed.
2007-2013 may also fit. The top of the tailgate may be shaped slightly different, but I think everything else is identical.
