It doesn't completely eliminate trips because we need a live truck to finalize things. Unless... you want to gift us a truck???

Just took a look.
MGM rears only show as a painted acrylic option on the drop down select color page,
But, the description shows it as a standard mass production color?
Your description is conflicting.

Personally the painted option is not what I’m after. Mass produced MGM plastic is, as it should hold up better.

Some colors OEM colors are mass produced using Factory Certified color codes and are NOT painted to order. These colors are: Magnetic Gray Metallic, Ice Cap, and Midnight Black.

Magnetic Gray Metallic is available as a Painted to Match option.

 

Never mind, I Looked again and saw both MGM acrylic at $40 more than the gloss or flat black standard colors, and then at the bottom of the drop downs MGM painted ones for $40 more than the acrylic option.

“Ice Cap” is the same as Super White II, though, right? My mustache order said Super White but I didn’t see that for the fog bezel, I thought I read somewhere these are the same but should probably confirm!

 

Any trucks with windchill pearl pictures? Curious to see how the paint matches up.

Yup. Super White is the same as Ice Cap. Toyota just changed the name to be *fancy*

We use the most popular variant of the color code and purchase our paint through a local PPG retailer. Should always be pretty freaking close! Wish I had some photos though...

There is an option to reserve a window trim blackout kit on the chromestoppers website. When are those anticipated to be ready, and are they overlays or replacement trim pieces?

A much needed improvement!

We have the molds made, but we really won't have a solid timeline until the first part is put into the machine. It's projected to be finished by the end of the year. Though they are small, they are just as intricate as any other part.

Can't wait to see them!

That would be my guess. We are trying to hire an assistant for our painter right now, so hopefully that will ease up our bottleneck.

Are you referring to the U shaped part with the little lights on the rear that surrounds the flat vertical area where the license plate goes?

When we get our painted parts back from Kevin, our painter, we always think "wow, what a cool color", then ya'll put 'em on your trucks and it's just mind blowing

 

Yes, undecided if I want to match the body color (Mesquite) or match the plate surround.

 

Just confirmed with my boss that this is something that we will never make. It's a great idea, but it's not feasible with our machines. If you find anyone who makes a product for that area, please let me know so that i can get it sourced and added to the website!

 

I'd pre-ordered the bumper caps, but at checkout it says they don't ship to Canada. Is there something wrong with the website, or did you guys stop shipping up here in the last few weeks?

you'll never have a perfect match, unless you paint the parts on the truck and have a good blend/paint the whole truck....

 

I'd have to see WCP on a truck. I have a feeling I'm not going to dig it, but you never know.
