It's for a 2010 Sequoia but I figured this was the best sub forum to place it in. I've been looking for a manufacturer who makes a leather seat replacement cover for the 2nd row 40/20/40 bench in a Sequoia. I cannot find one despite a lot of research. Every quote I get (Katzkin, LeatherSeats.com etc.) is for an entire interior replacement and these people never respond to requests for a quote on just the 2nd row.

The dilemma is that I own a Platinum and I'm currently replacing the 2nd row with a bench and the only quality used bench's I can find in Tan are cloth so I'm resorting to replacing the cloth with leather in order to get the 2nd row I desire. The second dilemma is that Tundras.com won't allow me to post a wanted ad in Buy/Sell/Trade forum until I have 50 F'n posts so I'll just fill up the forum with interesting posts until I hit that magical, mystical, God chosen number.

Either way, any help is appreciated folks. Thanks!

Does Katskinz do the cover for the bench?

You may need to find a local installer and ask them to order the parts from Katzkins for the middle seat as a “repair”. I know upholstery shops can order repair parts for leather Katzkins.

Katskinz doesn't do partial orders. I went to an installer to price just fronts for my Tundra and he quoted me $900 because he's basically gotta get a full kit. Your best bet is an upholstery shop but I'm not sure it'd be cheaper than just buying the full kit.

That’s pretty much what I’ve run into so far. A lot of these vendors only sell full kits, and the ones willing to sell just the 2nd row isn’t really worth the discount. One of them was $1,099 for a full set, or $799 for just the 2nd row. Absurd.

I’m going to start calling local upholstery shops.

They do make one and it was high on my list but I believe they only sell complete sets. I’m still waiting to hear back from them.

That interesting. I do several projects with an upholsterer every year and I could have sworn they could get replacement parts from Katzkins if needed. But maybe they were just saying that they had another partial kit that matched what they put in my truck and that they could pilfer parts from it. Either way, it sounds like that’s a no-go. Bummer.
