I'm thinking it would be nice to break up some of the Lunar Rock with more matte black and came across this. It fits with double sided mounting adhesive similar to badges, from what I can tell. I can't find any wide full pictures. Nothing in google searches, only the pics on the product listing. Looks pretty nice to replace the standard fake scoop and it would cover all the holes left behind in the hood. Technically it's also removable if you change your mind down the road.

Anybody seen these in the flesh or at least some full frontal pics???

Agree on the hood scoop. The have nonfunctional vents too. :notsure:

The rest of the kit looks better color matched. A few threads about it on here and a recent one on Reddit.

I kind of hate the rest of the kit, but still not sure about the scoop. There would be no functional purpose for a hood scoop on these trucks, anyway.

I'm the opposite but the design is definitely an acquired taste.

The vents are probably the most useless part of the kit in my opinion. Not only do you have to chop the outer fender but you'll need to cut the inner wall in the engine bay as well. Probably better to get a vented aftermarket hood if you need the added airflow in the bay. Fender also traps debris as well.

Lower engine bay temps in exchange for more dust. A few folks have vented hoods but I've not seen one set up feed the CAI or how useful that would even be.

Vented hood on the old mans rig def helps get that engine bay heat out. I'll be doing the same hood soon. Also opened up the hood bulge.

    Under normal operation no.

@reywcms rig is supercharged and he uses his truck in baja style conditions.

The only other condition I could see is if you are running a open hot CAI that isn't sealed from the bay. Not sure an expensive vented hood is the fix here.

Never could get past the weird lip where the fender and bumper meet. Why can't the fender flares go all the way down?

Kills the ascetic of a truck.

Yeah I see it too especially given the rear extends all the way to the bottom. The kit could be done better. Pretty pricey too.

From the side it doesn't line up with their front bumper either.

I still like the flares better than most of the other flares I've seen even though they don't extend far beyond the body line.
