Are those swing-out arms removable? That bumper doesn't work with BSM right?

Welp, thanks to all you hooligans, here I am… with a 36.8” problem to solve
    F9C85E2B-4A51-418B-9888-22CC1CE5218A.jpg
I’ve got full steering to the passenger side but it is very close to the cab mount. And I got about 50% to the driver side before it stuffs hard. I’ve got SPC uppers coming to help with the problem and I have a partial bmc at the moment till I find a welder to finish the job. Overall I am still very happy with it though!

Not for me. Lower control arms are set significantly different side to side and per my most recent alignment I have almost equal numbers on each side :notsure:. Possible something is tweaked but I can't tell rolling around underneath it.

Very interesting! I watch this thread in anticipation of going to 37s and the issues I’ll run into.

I wonder what the solution will be for you? I almost asked about total chaos lower control arms but that wouldn’t make sense fixing the issue after thinking for a couple more seconds….

Has anyone been able to clear 37s using the stock bumper with 1/2” bumper shims or did you still end up having to trim the bumper?

Nice choice. I can’t decide between the Baja boss mt, cooper stt pro, or KO2s(for light weight).

I havent had them offroad yet but so far they ride nice and quiet on the highway. Headed to Colorado this weekend so ill run them through their paces.

As far as lights, they are Baja Design flush mount S2s.

IMO the cut is worth it if you wheel any. The Tundra bumper and receicer hitch is so low hanging it drags on everything.

If it were my daily driver, I would have gone with the KO2s but this is more of a weekend/fun truck for me so I went all out with the Baja Boss M/T’s!

I’m dumping the 20” wheels with 33s and interestingly, my new 17” wheels with the Baja Boss 37s are only 4 lbs heavier per wheel/tire than the 20” wheels with 33s.

Had I gone KO2s, I would be 14lbs lighter per wheel/tire than my current 20” wheels with 33s.

Is there any off-road advantage to 13.5 wide tires over 12.5 tires? I would think 12.5 would be superior but I don’t know enough about the subject. I see some on here run the 13.5 wide and they do look beefy but seems like more road contact = more drag.

Yeah the 4" riser of the wheel well really puts things into a better perspective
