Just got my Pro Holder today. Very easy install.

I like the fact that it keeps the phone within easy reach, phone is easily accessed, and does not block the right air vent.

We will see how well it charges with the ODB Fusion and Waze apps running simultaneously.

    Will let you know.

Old thread but same with iPhone 14 pro as well. With or without case it'll charge then stop after 10 seconds or so. Dealership said it was cause the bump on the camera. If I move it about a 1/4 inch to the left of that little divider I can get ti to stay charged sometimes but its like threading a god damn needle.

Android S 23 I found it annoying especially @ night once the phone loses connectivity the screen lights up,now I just turn the phone screen facing the firewall/dash and let it rely back and forth and hope for the best on a charge.

I wonder if forcing the $70 "connectivity kits" on so many builds has anything to do with the fact they knew their Qi chargers were complete ass.

My new 2023 Qi charger works far better than the one on my identical 2022 Tundra. It still heats the phone up and doesn’t charge particularly quickly, but it stays connected, unlike on the 2022. The slow charging and heat build-up is really a consequence of wireless charging right now, worsened by cases on our phones and the camera “gap.”

My S23 caused the annoying connect/disconnect issue until I moved the phone all the way to the left. Stays connected now.

Same here. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max with a MagSafe case and it still doesn't charge well. I was thinking it had to do with the camera lenses holding it away from the charger.

Mine works just fine, a few times where it comes off charge but not enough for me to go out and buy an aftermarket. If need to really charge my phone I just throw it on the quick charge usb c with a cable, the Qi charger is not the fastest but its a nice phone holder/charger to keep some battery juices flowing. I have an iPhone 13 mini with apple silicone case for reference.

I have not been impressed with my built in QI charger in my 2023. It basically keeps up with streaming audio and running google or Apple maps through CarPlay. I was expecting it to actually be able to increase charge.

Had an iphone 8 plus with the apple silicone case and it worked fine. Just upgraded to an iphone 14 and bought the apple magsafe silicone case and QI is not charging with the case on. If I take it off, it charges fine. I am wondering if it is the magsafe part of the case that is messing it up. I wondered about the extruded cameras but they are still extruded without the case and it works fine. Anyone make it work with a non apple silicon case? If so what did you get? Thanks.

My wife's iPhone 11 stays connected even in a case. My iPhone 11 Pro doesn't, and I refuse to take it out of its Otter case. It's a first world problem. I can live with using a cord.

I have a 14 pro max with Apple brand silicone case , I feel lucky mine works really well.

I had Apple car play full nav, music streaming etc, the other day towing with a 600 mile day, it stayed pegged at 100%

I got the $70 connectivity kit and didn’t use it for over a year of ownership. I opened it the first day I got my truck and was like f this theres no cigarette light plug in this truck. Smoking banned! So for a year I ran a usb down the front 14” NAV screen to the usb on the right to power my dash cam. Finally wiped down the dash after a year and found the plug in the center dash storage cubby.

Pixel 7 Pro with or without slim case, Qi charger is awful. I was hoping it was going to better then my 20 Taco. I noticed it goes down when using Android Auto wireless and the wireless charger. I'll still need to have a USBC cable in the truck.

Mine wouldn't charge at all until I moved my phone to the left. Stays connected now but still not the best charger.

Same thing with my Samsung S22 ultra. If I move it all the way left, stays connected no issues. Anything other than all the way left, continuously goes in and out of charging.

Got the thin non magsafe case from Amazon and while it did help, charging is still unreliable. I am going to pick up a magsafe charger and stick it on the console beside the factory charger as others have done.
On a side note, my wife's iphone 12 mini works great on the factory qi charger.
