You can rent shot blasters for a couple hundred a day and the learning curve is basically flat.

If you've got a good shop vac clean up is easy as well.

Is the shot blast what allows the coating to stick to the concrete?

Kind of? Pretty much it's just a sand blaster only it uses steel shot to strip the concrete.

I used it in a manufacturing plant to strip a floor with like 30 years of dirt and grease. Floor looked like it had just been poured when we finished. Slapped down a coat of Rust-Oleum epoxy and it still looked good 2 years later when I left.

Sounds like an ex might've just broken something off and is waxing nostalgic about having some more ferric oxide in her life.

It’s actually still really good, lots of references I didn’t get as a kid. Which growing up, I assumed when a woman’s water broke, it was just like the movie; I was sadly disappointed with both my kids!

I’m surprised you guys remember Polaroids. They more or less died out in the late 70s/early 80s as far as I could tell (my mom used one). Only thing comparable were those mini Polaroid instant print outs to give you wallet pics.

Did they solve the issue with picture fade? You can barely see any of the photo detail from the early Polaroids. This made them useless IMO unless you plan to toss the pic after 5 years.

No the quality is still what you would expect from an old school camera. Not good.
