I miss my 2011 with the CD player

 

Part of why I specifically bought a 2019 instead of a 2020. I hate the phone apps for cars, and they replaced the CD player with their addition in the 2020 MY.

 

I coulda built a sweet ass CD rack in my custom center console in the 21, if it had a player

 

If Sirius had fewer commercials I'd consider the deal somebody posted where it was 3 years for a hundred bucks. Trouble is that I only listen to 2-3 of their channels and their "commercial free" radio is full of their own self promotion between every song. I'd pay for a satellite radio that just had the song/band introduced before the song, summarized after, and the next song introduced. I don't want radio "personalities" trying to turn it into some community crap. Just play music. I have a 3 mile commute. I want music, not some 50 year old trying to sound hip for all the kids and being all stoked about music from kids the age of his grandchildren.

 

You could get an old discman and use an AUX cable.

 

MP3 players will do the same thing and hold a lot more music.

 

And never mind...posted in wrong thread. One of those days.

 

CDs have better audio quality. Plus, for us old guys the nostalgia of swapping discs has some value.
