Looking to replace the 5100s on my truck. Only have 80K on the
Truck but I'm going through and starting to replace wear items. I have 4600s priced on rock auto. Can I use the springs and mounts from the stock height 5100 front shocks with the 4600 absorber? Im having trouble finding 4600 springs and mounting kit.

5100 are silver versions of the 4600 aren't they? Just with some height adjustability for the fronts?

The internals are essentially the same. Supposedly the valving is similar. The major difference is, the 5100 has an adjustable spring seat, 4600 is fixed, and they're different colors.

If it were me, I'd just stick with 5100 on replacement, but it's not my truck. I'm actually kinda surprised refresh is needed at 80k miles, I'd expect another 20-40k miles out of them. If the lower bushings aren't blown, the truck isn't bouncing/sagging, and the shock hasn't blown oil, I wouldn't spend the money, myself.

I ordered my 5100 from AutoZone and used a 20% off discount code that was offered. I paid 477.62 shipped.

Was that for complete front shocks and the rears?

That was for front shocks, no springs and rear shocks. I reused my factory coils.
