There's a certified 2023 in town with less than 50 miles on the clock. It comes w/ a full certified warranty - so 8/75k (I think) - WAY WAY WAY better than a new vehicle.

I was told by the salesperson that it was traded from out of state - and in that situation, they get marked as used. That doesn't make any sense to me.

We were talking at work, and it sounds more likely that something happened during a test drive - wreck, or some other rather significant event, and they repaired it in-house.

I haven't seen the carfax yet - just curious if anyone has ever experienced that situation before and some things I might should look carefully for when I see it in person.

I’d be looking under at the frame and also checking the cats. Check the body lines and look if anything looks unusual or not symmetrical.

    Bring a flashlight.

Vehicles traded between dealers are never titled so they are still new. A vehicle is only considered used once it is titled to someone so if they are listing it as used, then it is was once sold. A vehicle can actually be in an accident on a test drive and repaired but still sold as new since it was never sold.
