    That's whole the deal.
    Gen 2 guys aren't complaining.
They just merely comment on the multiple Toyota, and Gen 3 owners on this forum, acknowledged flaws of your Gen 3.
Then you guys get triggered and get your panties wadded up.

For us, it's all in fun, it's what friends do, but you guys take it way too seriously.
You can talk shit about my Gen 2.5 truck all you want, it matters not to me.
    I love my truck.

Probably just be easier for y'all to ignore the comments since you think they have no truth or merit.
If you don't acknowledge them, they will probably just go away....

I was at a stop light today. 2 gen comes up next to me. Light turns green. Dude FLOORED it, he really showed me. If I had known it was a race, I would have at least put it in Sport mode and tried to time the light. LOL

Anyway, they are all cool trucks, so let’s drive and enjoy.

The old ones sound better for sure , but I feel like my newer one would walk away from my 16, especially with how much faster shifting is and the extra gears

I’d like to drive yota 350 with this 10-speed just for grins and see how it would compare with the old 6 speed

All that said the boost and low end torque out of this thing is awesome , it pulls like a mofo, well done yota.

another thing I’m noticing is during this stupid ass hot and humid weather my 350 would be kinda a dog, i think the turbos keep the power up a little better , at least that’s my prelim thought , especially driving today

I suspect if I was really going to race him, he would have gotten off the line quicker but as soon as the turbos kicked in I would have smoked him. Mine is only a regular engine anyway, a Hybrid would have done better I am sure. I bet that You Tube has a video of someone racing. I think I did see a supercharged 5.7 beat a 3.4 TTHyb on TRD Jon channel.

Anyone who says something like that or even cares, means their truck is their most valuable possession.

I have a 2021 but like the Gen 3. If I happen to see someone driving one it's all positive. I ask how they like it, they tell me mine looks good.

2.5 have the proven reliability. I get too stressed if vehicle needs repairs. Mine is paid off and I'm trying to save for retirement. Priorities I guess. Big tires and lifts don't impress me.

I guess if I see someone with a Gen 3 with big tires I know I'm getting better mpg, but thats true for any truck. Hard to understand how 12 mpg would be acceptable. Life choices.

This is the world of cars. Ive owned over 20 new ones in my life, there's always a hater for every car. Hell, I remember back in the 1990 when I owned a Honda CRX Si and every Geo Storm owner on the road would yell an insult... I wonder how they felt when that car was thrown away after 5 years and Id bet that CRX is still on the road today :)

In the 90’s I drove an 87 Toyota kingcab pickup. Everyone who drove the big 3 would sling insults at my little yota. That is until my little yota showed them how capable it was. I probably converted a lot of the haters to Toyota.

It's not a Tundra generation problem.
It's just an asshole in a truck problem.
They make tons of those guys. They yell at Fords from their Chevy, they yell at Chevys from their ram, they race people at red lights who don't know they're racing, they blow people's doors off with their BMWs on the expressway, etc.
I wouldn't refer to them as "them" and "us".

I went to a Tim Horton’s once in Thunder Bay having heard Canadians talk the place up like it was some sort of revered place to get Coffee, donuts, and various breakfast foods.

What I found was more or less a Dunkin Donuts with a middling case of mental retardation in comparison to a Dunkin Donuts.

I give Tim Horton’s a solid 2/10. For reference the average convenience store scores about the same, with a vending machine being a 1/10.

I agree, Tim's is way overrated. I figure they must put something in the coffee because people line up for miles to get some.

At least no one here would diss your truck as this is a truck town. Next time your are in TBay send me a PM. We will go for a coffee .

Funny, no mfg is slower to update their lineup than toyota..., for God's sake look at the Taco, 4R, and Tundra update history... It has to be that damn v8 thing.. Besides Toyota's general approach, supply chain issues would have never made it feasable, but I would have loved it if they would have rolled out a "limited" run of V8s' in Gen 3. Would have been an easier transition, and once they finally killed that beautiful dinosaur motor, would have had a couple of years of really sought after rigs (yep, had to go with rig there)... Had 2.5 TRD Pro, and loved that exhaust, but the 10 speed is soooo smooth....

A twin turbski V8 can sound glorious.

If this one doesn’t give you a hard on I’m going to suggest you see a doctor.
