    Hello all,

I swapped out the oem headlight housing and noticed one plug that did not have a female end on the new headlights.

Photo of the plug (located in the middle and if looking down in engine bay, the bottom of the headlight)

Circled in red, is where I disconnected it from the oem headlights.

After the install, I checked all actions of the headlights (e.g., low and high beams, blinkers, etc) and everything seemed to be working properly. In the meantime, I sealed them up with some electrical tape. Anybody know the name of the plug and what it's function is? Thanks in advance!

Yeah, that is the plug for the manual headlight leveling. There should be a switch on your dash for that.
Your new lights dont have that feature.
But, you did the right thing. Just tuck it out of the way, and there will be no problems.

Not a problem. I only know because I also changed my lights out.

Did you get Spyders? You can install the leveling motors on them. I did it this week.

Haha, it's nothing special, just replaced them with blacked out headlamps. Definitely adds an aggressive look to dark trucks.
