So I bought this 2022 Tundra out of state that already had custom wheels and tires, plus a leveling kit. So I needed an inspection, and unfortunately my state doesn’t allow any offset to where the tires stick out pass the body frame. Plus, I didn’t have any stock wheels to throw on. So I bought these fender flares, installed them, and the inspection passed! Now I just need to decide if I want to keep them or not Need some votes please, fender flares or no?

    Thanks all!

    Pretty things
    I think they look good.

But they will eventually scuff the paint, so you really must decide now if if you DONT like them. Also, if you have inspection every year or so...

I like the original look. The fender flares are OK however I think the side-view is a cleaner look without them.

I'll be that guy. I think they look like cheap plactic crap that you stuck to the outside of your truck. Not as bad as a fake hood scoop though.

I think they look nice, keep for sure.

As mentioned if you will have to the inspection again, well why would you remove?

I think flares look good when you have wider tires/offset to fill out to the edge of them. IMO flares look weird on a stock setup where the edge of the tire sits in a couple inches.

All that to say if you plan to keep the current tire/wheels, I'd leave the flares. If you intend to go back to a more factory wheel/tire, I'd take them off.

I'm not a huge fan, but I like the stock look even less. I'd keep em.
