Truck battery was dead this morning, had to jump it and immediately check engine light for both cam position sensors both banks came on. Wondering if this is just from the dead battery? I find it hard to believe they’d all wipe just from the battery dying one night. Pretty sure truck died from the dome light being left on (think my dog turned it on and I didn’t notice). Truck has died a couple times from lights being left on over night but first time the check engine light came on. 155k on the truck
    Codes:
    P0340 cam position sensor A bank 1
    P0345 cam position sensor A bank 2
    P0365 cam position sensor B bank 1
    P0390 cam position sensor B bank 2

I'd check wiring for rodent damage.... Are you sure you didn't cross the battery poles while jumping it?? Accidents happen and not saying you did it, but it's a little sus when you jump it and CEL comes on. I'd side with possible rodents infestation but consider the latter.

no evidence of rodents, I drive the truck pretty much every day. Drove perfectly fine to and from work, cleared the codes after and haven’t come back on, also haven’t driven much.
I definitely put the cables on right, but my buddy plugged the wires into his mini jump pack so maybe something with that, I’d assume the plug can only go in one way and it wouldn’t short out by itself. I guess at this point if it comes back on I’ll swap the sensors
