I'm just pissed I passed up a chance to put these on same wheels on my truck last week. Someone had them listed on local Craigslist for $8,300.

Because, ostensibly, you're worried about people hurting other people's feelings. But, since you're amused with your conclusion that I'll be hurt by, what you consider, it backfiring, you're going to let it go. Cool.

I don't think it was so much about hurting anyone's feelings, it was just a stupid post to start a thread..

Also, I had a Gen 1 if that makes you feel better..

It was absolutely about potentially hurting someone's feelings.

To an extent. I get that people get attached to their rigs. I mean, we're all here because we care about or think there's something special about them. Maybe I made the mistake that some take it much more seriously as I do.

This one won't be getting shut down. The mods have made it abundantly clear they're amused by the retribution they feel is being had.

I'm not taking sides, my parents were huge fans of the 'taste your own medicine' method of discipline, so I'm accustomed to what I'm seeing unfurl over here. I gotta say, it worked for me as a kid.

I came home from work today and collapsed on the bed. I was channel surfing and stopped on family feud.
The question: when a person is said to have a "rat face", what parts of their face could someone be referring to?
    Two of the answers:
    "Their body".
    "Their face".
Only 5 answers on the board. 3 strikes.

Is a double cab TRD Pro in Lunar Rock a rare config?
Or hard to find one for sale used?

That's understandable. It is interesting, though, that they'll shut down other threads that they perceive as having the same problem while leaving this one open, when I even requested they close it if they saw a need. It feels less like everyone getting the same medicine and more like malice.

Were your parents amused when punishing you or were they reluctant to do it but knew it was best for your growth and learning?

As i understand it, the Mods operate off of the basic CoC or if stuff is getting reported. If no reports are coming in and it's not a clear cut rules violation, then they generally let the sandbox be.

Well...if we are surfing and come across something...

There are certain sections that stick out all the time. Those are low hanging fruit...

That is good news. I can't imagine one of my vehicles going up in flames. Bummed for anyone that's happened to.

Considering that in today's market my truck is worth more used than I paid for it new and my insurance will cut me a check for the full cost of a new one, I wouldn't be too upset if it caught fire.

I never considered if you have feelings. I'm not empathetic like @War Machine .

Doesn't help me out at all. Every time I try to drive towards a fire I get stopped and they keep saying stuff about insurance fraud, scams, illegal this and that. How am I supposed to exploit the system like a good Canadian?

Hasn't been too smoky though. We send it all south of the line for y'all to enjoy.

I love how so many with an older gen talk shit about the new. My bullet proof badass 5.7 v8 half million mile ass whooper sat at a dealer for almost a damn year because of a fuel pump.

    Cam tower leak anyone?

First Gens had common issues of their own including: a ticking from exhaust manifold failure, recall for lower ball joints, air injecttion pump failure and O2 sensor failure.

Those too. My '05 frame is perfect though, so I haven't had to deal with that.
