Definitely a big help getting in and out. Get the top plates as that does help significantly. My wife loves them. Just got back from a trip to Colorado and they got a couple of hits and did great!

nice, I pick mine up in acouple days. Can’t wait to put them on. Any tips or tricks I should know when installing them?

 

BFG KO2 275-70/18” with a Rough country 1.75” spacer level up front and Cornfed 1.0” spacer in rear.and 1.25” Bora wheel spacers. I’d like to go up to 295 tires but I guess I’m stuck with these until they wear out.

Installed Fumoto valve, RCI skids and Rigid fog lights

 

Installed a Alu Cabin and a few accessories.

 

De-piano’d the shifter surround with a matte black plastic overlay.

Made a wooden platform for the backseat utilizing the 40/60 split primarily so my dogs had something flat to lay on while I'm driving.
Eventually want to cut in some removable panels to remove and access storage underneath, but for now this is how it fits.

What would be a good liner material to coat the wood?

 

Walmart and other places sell some inexpensive gray carpeting that is similar to the material on the underside of the seats. Wrap it and use a staple gun underneath. I've done it a few times this way on smaller similar projects.

 

SR5 grille > TRD Off-road grille
Black tailgate letters > Red
I wannna add more red but on the front. Any suggestions? (calipers are next).

 

I have a picture somewhere on my build thread, but Tufskinz sells red TRD letters and other graphics for the grill and the bottom piece. Also I painted my emblem red.

 

Can I see a pic of your emblem? From afar. I want it to be red but I thought it may look like Rudolph lol (no offense to you just thoughts)

It will look a LOT better once I get my TRD grille on. I have a black emblem and a color matched one I painted as well, so when I do the color matched mustache and fog light bezel, I'll have a few looks to play around with. Ultimately the entire truck will be white, black, and red.

 

Tufskinz also sells the front TUNDRA overlay for the fog light bezel in TRD red

I painted the stock chrome one. The TRD grill I bought had a black one already, and then i found another a guy sold for $20. So, I sanded the two chrome ones, sprayed them with a Krylon adhesion promoter, painted them, and cleared them with a 2K clear coat I purchased online. Similar to how I did the other color match items in my build thread below.
