Not a complete blackout but the tvdvinyldecals are doing the trick. The chrome gives it some depth. And put on a shorty antenna from Amazon.

Yep. Moving one of the kids out of her current apartment. Rain or shine. Or tropical storms...Might miss it by a day if I'm lucky.

definitely a downgrade in reception. I kept the old whip antenna in case I want to listen to the radio. The shorty antenna just looks better.

Began the R&R of the factory rear bumper in order to install the Rough Country one. I knew going in that it was going to be a major PITA due to watching YT videos. Having an injured back and no help has made it very difficult.

Took an hour and a half to get the factory bumper off and halfway disassembled, using air tools. Called it quits when it was getting too late for the neighbors with little ones that needed to sleep. I will be hitting it again tomorrow and anticipate another three hours of work.

The picture reminds me that I need to replace the spare tire with the upgraded size.

Went out and tried the new blower in the dunes and the difference is noticeable. None of the TRX’s that were online talking bs showed up to play. Maybe next time.

I believe he was at Sand Lake Dunes, which is a little bit south of Tillamook, OR...

We also have a large dunes rec area just south of Florence called Dunes City, OR

On this note, please be careful. Good idea, but I imagine altering the seat with wood v. metal may respond very differently if you were involved in a moderate to major MVA. Just a friendly thought!

Same here. I'm 5'8" I don't have an issue with the driver seat. In the SR5 the driver seat is nicely adjustable, but passenger side sucks. 1 set on the passenger side made everybody happy.

I've got the seat jackers in mine, and love them. I was adjusted fully and fought leg discomfort after about 90 minutes. I don't enjoy sitting still for extended periods to begin with, but these definitely improved the situation for me. 6'2 200lbs and wouldn't go back to life without them.

Got the Rough Country bumper on and am less than impressed. The quality of the bumper is fine. Fit and finish is fine. The increased gap is a bit annoying. But what really bothers me is the complete lack of instructions on how to reinstall the wire harness for the sensors. The RC holes for the sensors don't work with the factory sensors, there is no where to mount the sensor modules, the factory license plate lights aren't used, and the bumper doesn't allow the use of a license plate frame and obscures the bottom part of the plate, which might be illegal in some states. I know in AZ it is.

So, I have spent roughly 7 hours total working on it and I still don't have the factory harness installed, the license plate lights working, or the LED lights hooked up. Will have to wait until next weekend to tackle those issues.

Looking at the Ironman Raid front bumper next. 15% off now, so need to research and see if it actually works with the factory sensors and how difficult it will be to install.

Put about 800 miles on the truck this weekend driving to, around, and back from Acadia National Park. Truck made the trip easy averaging, but I did have my rear driver side window track fall off the window. Turns out that piece was really rusted and allowed it to stop sticking to the bottom of the window. At least that's an easy fix. Going to grab replacement windows from the dealer soon.

Still dealing with the passenger window, lack of door lock beeps, and brake-flickering-night-mode-on--my-headunit gremlins, though.

I like that look. Just a bit of pop to keep it interesting epically with a white truck.

Someone tried to snatch the cats from my Tundra and Sequoia, I think. He parked halfway on my driveway at 5 am, turned off the lights, but not the engine, then sat in darkness for 5-10 minutes, looking. I waived a 50 cal through the window, he disappeared in a second. Glad my baby was awake, so did the parents.
