Nice look! I was looking at the coopers. Stock height? Any rubbing issues? Thanks!

Yeah - 'character' or something like that.

But I know the feeling when you get help of this type. Beats someone opening their door into the side with so much force it looks like they're exploding out of their parked car though. Those scars really get to me.

    Matte black EGR vent visors.

The only thing I’m not too fond of is the raised logo. There’s obviously no way to remove it. The old-school AVSs had a logo that was printed on, but was easily removed with a bit of WD40.

Installed Seat Jackers. The jury is still out on these as the seats were pretty darn comfortable to me before. Driving down to Socal next week so I'll have the chance to really get used to them. For reference, I'm 6'4".

I’ll double-check a little later. I have to go out in a little bit and load the truck up for a week at the lake.

Let us know what you think. I'm 6'5" and have considered adding these. I think the seats are pretty comfortable now, just not as comfortable as my 05 4Runner was on long trip. Those seats were firm and fit me well.

I tried them, didn’t like them, and returned them. Most people rave about them though. I think there’s a bit of confirmation bias happening.

I'm 6'1" and after some trial and error, I really love the seat jackers. It does take a little getting used to and you have to play some to get the seat adjusted since this throws off your current settings. But I love that my thighs are now supported and it makes a 5 hour road trip so much more comfortable.

If you are happy with your seats now, you might bot be a fan but I was looking for some improvement and this gave me what I needed.

Confirmed. They are just stickers. They peeled right off after sitting in the sun for an hour or so. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually fell off on their own.

I'm in the 'love them' camp (6'0"). I got a pair for both front seats and my wife (5'4") hated them. DDI gave me a refund on the one set without blinking, even though they were a little chewed up from installation. It cost me maybe 40 minutes to install both sets, and the shipping to get the one set back to them. Easily worth the trouble. I've seen folks just use steel washers, if you don't mind the way that looks.

Before you spend the money you can try using wood blocks or washers to accomplish the same thing. I made some wood blocks 1” thick (so it gives me the same lift as the seat jackers) and I’ve been running them for a while. Once the budget opens up (I’ve been out of work for a while with a back injury) I’m going to order the seat jackers with the multi-mount panel on one side so I can mount a couple small items that are currently just laying on the floor.

Yeah, to each his own. I have a Platinum so my seat may have more adjustment than yours from the start.

I raised mine up with washers and longer hardened bolts. I couldn’t get more than about 3/4” higher because as you raise the seat, the hole in the seat bracket is no longer centered over the nut in the floor and I would need to elongate that hole to go higher. So I left it at 3/4” and I like it.

    Short answer, AL and SD.

    Longer Answer:

Heading out of Tampa Bay and going to Birmingham, AL for two weeks for work. Thankfully they just paid for part of my fuel and put me in a hotel lol. After that, going to see family in Baton Rouge and then DFW, TX. Couple days there and then up to Palo Duro for an undecided amount of time. A lot of that will depend on temps and $$. From there, havent set everything in stone, but I want to go up to Zion, ID, MO, and then stop in SD for a month. But that route gets fairly blurry at this point. The trip home is most likely going to be northern and cutting back down to NC. Fun thing, after Alabama, nothing is booked.

I think the platinum seats adjustability does help. For taller folks it's nice to be able to extend the front of the seat out. Seat jackers aren't high on my list of mods right now. Just one of those things I might do in the future.

Too funny. I installed both sides. My 5’4” wife loves them on the passenger side. Was a no go for me on the driver’s side.
