I just left BestBuy. The 11’s are gone but you can still get the 9’s.

 

I wonder how many units they have/had in stock and what the sales volume was like?

FWIW, I work in the consumer electronics industry and can tell you for sure these are being sold at an enormous loss. This is probably less then it costs Alpine to make them, much less what BB pays.

 

That may very well be the explanation. I tried to get info from the sales drones from BB but got nowhere.

Or if you have an old composite video cable kicking around and know how to solder, you might be able to make your own adapter. I kind of want a front camera but don't want to pay $20 for a what amounts to a composite end and a connector.
