Im usually amazed by how much people know who visit Boston than I do from living there. Freedom trail? Yeah, I’ve heard of it. Quincy Market? Yeah, I’ve been there a few times. USS Constitution? Seriously? Take a duck boat tour, you’ll have more fun. Booze cruise? Okay, now you’re talking my language.

I worked at a shop in memphis when i lived in bahalia, ms. Wasnt a fan, and didnt stay long (even though bahalia was awesome, rented an apartment above a horse barn.)

Brain parasites!

I mean, Mother Nature is already in process of taking care of it. I for one will enjoy my short 1hr commutes to the beach 20-30 years from now, if I'm still alive.

 

Any cat I’ve had never came into the house or apartment. I only gave them shelter in the basement with a kitty litter box, dinner and water bowl and mat to sleep on.

Good thing too. That cat would constantly bring its kill into the basement and I had to shovel it out. My brother made the mistake of keeping his gerbil in a cage in the basement for the weekend. He came back to a busted cage with a half eaten gerbil on the floor.

I'm not certain why Shifty isn't expounding. I'm guessing he wants to make sure you know about the risk of contracting toxoplasmosis when changing out cat litter. Not a biggie usually, but better to avoid it while pregnant. I guess this needs to be one more thing you take on for the duration. Better though, have Big Bro take on this chore. That and feeding them are the only chores my kid does every day without reminder and, as a result, they're definitely his kittens.

Anyway, if you don't know already, here's the gist, and look it up when you get a minute:
'You can change your cat's litter box safely while you're pregnant, but it's better to have someone else do this chore if possible. The concern here is toxoplasmosis, a parasitic infection that can be transmitted through cat poop (such as in kitty litter or outdoor soil where cats have defecated).'

And supposedly if you're been around cats previously, changing litter box, sleeping with them, you may already have the brain parasites and not such a big deal. But yeah, no bueno for buns in the oven, can do lots more damage on those tiny developing brains.

Don’t you hate it when someone wins raffle tickets to ‘Guns and Roses’ at work and they’re like “Guns and what?”.

“Dude, why did you even participate?” lol What a waste.

Would have been nice winning grandstand tickets to the concert this month since they’re supposedly playing at Fenway.

 

Favorite band growing up ever since i first pushed Appetite for Destruction into the cassette player in my dad’s 1986 F-150 while left alone in the truck while my parents were shopping. (1980s kids will conquer the world!) Saw them in San Antonio a few years ago; played a three-hour set. Was truly a great show.

I guess what I’m saying is you should waylay that guy in the parking lot.

I'm glad you opened my eyes to this the other day even though I'm not a cat person, especially inside. But I'm a well trained, inside dog person.

 

Well, ever since they put up cameras after someone was shot in the parking lot at work over some moonlighting business, I’ll have to do the passive aggressive thing and sign him up online for all the Guns N Rose fan based websites.
