Wife is still Covid+ so at least another 48hrs in the trailer. This is getting old. Daughter is out of her room, but still sniffling. Son is on a slow mend but sounds like a chainsmoker so he's still in his room. At this rate, he'll probably finish YouTube by tomorrow night. This is going to be a two week journey. Good times. Normally I'd like the excuse to work remote next week, but I really need to be in the office. Grrr.

And to top it off, I've got a long list of mods I want to start on the trailer but it's a hot zone right now. Cannot get in and do stuff...But I just ordered Starlink, so that will have to do for now.

Once we get to the new house, I want to start a garden. I also want to try my hand at homemade sauce some day. Romas are my favorite. I don't know which tomatoes are best for sauce, but I would've picked Romas, just because I like them.
I'll have to hit you up for info at some point.

We lost our cucumbers this year to wilt, and the silly little bastard beetles immediately migrated to our squash. Went from a good garden to almost nothing. Tomatoes are about the only thing holding on, but they aren't happy given all the rain up in New England this year. Fairly certain the garden has actually cost us money this year.

The big empty space was from an above-ground pool from a few years ago we decided not to keep, but the cracks are even under the grassy areas.
Just no rain in a long time but we've been watering.
Just can't keep up in the backyard, the front yard is a little dry, but it looks fine AKA alive..

That's crazy! Good luck? I'm honestly not sure what to say. We don't get heat like you all, so even dry weather up here doesn't look like that.

Romas are fine, and common for sauce. If I had limed them last year early, I would have been fine. Mine are in 6 gallon pots. You don't need a lot of land to grow them.

I can't grow a cucumber in dirt to save my life. I had great luck with winter hydroponic cucumbers in the basement this past winter so I am growing them hydroponically outside this year. 4 plants, 2 5 gallon buckets and a strong airpump.

My zucchini and squash were dirt planted and usually we have great luck but i didnt neem them in time and the bugs got them.

Whereas I'm enjoying the hot tub that scared the crap out of me wiring up - if I never have to work with 6/3 cable again it'll be too soon!

I've literally tried to nap for the last 3 weeks and I swear the kids have been waiting their entire lives for each of those moments I was almost successful.

An hour is huge! Anything longer brings on the grogginess and calls for immediate implementation of sweatpants.

The wife wants a hot tub. I would have to hire a company to add the concrete pad, purchase a hot tub, and an electrician to wire it up. Easily $10-15k. It can wait. Another year, I’ll remove the large trampoline and we will need to add some design back there. I want to remove most of my sod area and replace with a nice artificial turf. The front sod can stay.

What I try to do is find a show I can fall asleep to, and make sure I have peed otherwise it’ll bug me so I get up to pee then try to nap lol

I've lost count how many times I've been buzzed by 115vac and was even nipped by 277 once and I'm fine.

Yeah, family is great for that. I could sit on the couch and stare at the wall for 3 hours and no one will talk to me. But if all I want is 15 minutes to check something online everyone needs me right now!
