I don't see how you fuckers that live with humidity do this. It's 90, 85% humidity, and it's raining. I'm not cooling off yet. I'll take my 105 and 18% humidity any day. Even in the shade in daytime it's cool.

 

I'll bring some to t2s next year if you want.

I will admit, the Cali cats know how to party, it took me over a week to fully recover

 

Just wait’ll it stops raining, is still 90+ with the humidity, and the sun is a blowtorch. Welcome to southeastern NC for like the last month. It’s like being in Florida but with state income tax. A storm almost every day, cools off for like 5 minutes then instant sauna again. If we make it to the beach, we try to go mid morning at the latest and leave after 2-3 hours of watching the tourists from out of state go from white to pink to oh shit that’s gonna hurt later. But we love the beach so there’s that. ‍♂️

My wife and I went to a 50th wedding anniversary party last night.
The couple is the founding attorney of her law firm and his federal judge wife.
My wife has known them both for almost 20 years.
It took place at Frontiers of Flight Museum at Dallas Love Field Airport.

It's a pretty cool place.
The party featured good food, 4 bars, a mock casino, a big dance floor, and a large stage with 3 different bands.
Lots of Dallas' elite including a couple of former mayors and many a judge.
She mingled while I played blackjack and won 4 grand of fake money..

We had a good time and met many interesting and some not so interesting people.
I can't imagine how much this shindig cost..
