I’d much rather have the Nick Williams 103 vs the RCF.

Girth bragging rights. That’s about it.

A few people posted about TBs. The RCF is plug and play since it is Lexus/Toyota part you just need a larger intake and the adapter Mount/plate PS sells

Now plot us a chart to Atlantis…
    That is neat. So is the 80mm a 2 : 1?

For the 1900 Magnuson you have to port the inlet to 84mm or more since it’s about 76mm stock, meaning you likely need to remove the whole snout to do so which is moderately involved/annoying. The actual TB install and adapter plate is a 5 minute deal. Getting a intake hose over the larger throttle body took some ingenuity but is doable. It adds about 22% air volume and looks “stock”/plug and play TB is nice.

Finally got a dragy and got on the board! First attempt here (somewhere in northern Mexico on a closed course), thought it would be a little faster but I’ll take it. I need a new tune, waiting on headers though.

as I'm pondering the intricacies of life....

I wish my fvckin' AEM boost guage would work. the molex in the back is balled up again. I can push the wires, as I drive, and it works perfect.

I'll attempt to jury-rig it this weekend. I reckon a rubber band & toothpick should do the trick.

All you PSB-1 dudes can now pile on. I deserve, and have earned, every jab.

From the mind of the resident idget:

it appears you have a mushy 1-2 shift. your G's tank when it shifts. tow/haul & nannies off?

    Mexico runs....

my run. see how it doesn't drop as much when it shifts? you are probably .5 seconds faster if that smush was not there.

what does it look like when you don't have gears & have 1020hp? + 4 big ass adults in the car?

I’ll see what I can do. Do you mean as far as the pressure ratio? It all depends on your boost at any given RPM and your atmospheric pressure at your locale. For me at 10 psi max it’s about a 1.68 PR. I plotted my 6k rpm at 9 psi or 1.6 PR. It varies throughout the rev range based on the pressures I wrote down from an acceleration video from 1.4 at 2k, 1.47 at 3k, 1.54 at 4 and 5k, and 1.6 at 6k.

That's right where i was with the stock maggy tune on 35's. After a custom tune and headers i dropped from 5.40 to a 4.73 (4.53 with 1ft rollout.) My 1/8th mile time dropped significantly as well from that 8.80@78 to my best of 8.49.@83. I don't even care about just how much quicker it is to 60 mph, the tune just made it so much more enjoyable to drive. And feels way more responsive. Well worth the investment.

Does this look right? Lexus parts sites say 2203038050 fits many cars:

BODY ASSY, THROTTLE W/THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR

Fits GS F, IS 250, IS 350, IS SERIES, LC 500, RC F

    This is a '16 IS350

No not the PR. I'm looking at the vertical RPM contours you landed on.

Your final plot point is at 12K RPM on the blower and your Tundra run ended on 6K RPM looking like 2 : 1.

The other numbers don't support 2:1 but the ratio looks ~1.3:1 ~1.4:1 for your other points.

LKQ does not make it easy. Called Oregon, verified they have it, then had to call Phoenix to order. I have to go pick it up when it comes as they do their own deliveries & do not do residential.

Which version? Aside from mount fitment issues I am currently having zero issues with the AEM X series.

    I got one from a '22 RC-F!

Here is one, I pasted it into a Lexus dealer parts search, it said the right PN did not fit.

Oh I see what you’re referring to. It is 1.94:1. To your point though, I did not graph the points by intersecting them with the blower speed. I graphed them by intersecting pressure ratio and the calculated mass flow rate. The plotted points don’t match up in the same spots if you were to plot them by blower RPM vs pressure ratio, but it’s actually not too far off done that way. Perhaps there is a way to plot them that somehow intersects all 3 of those points at once but I don’t see how.

No worries. Very useful visualization. I wasn't picking nits just making an observation. I figure the data was derived somehow based on how the graph is drawn.

That pulley is pretty spot on not sure you can cut through a more optimal part of a map. Based on your findings bigger pulleys would be have a more gradual slope below your line and smaller pulleys would have a steeper slope above it. Very useful for planning purposes.

Cool. Thanks for putting it together.

Edit looks like I have the pulley comment confused and twisted a bit. Larger pulley would also be a shorter line since it would have a lower peak RPM while a smaller pulley would be extended since it hits higher RPMs.
