    Hey all,

Last night I bought my first Tundra. 2018 Crewmax with SR5 upgrade pkg in cement. it has 33.8K miles, pretty much just the truck I was hoping to find. I'm sure I paid more than I could have - but after a few months of research - I feel ok. Pic from the dealer - I'm picking it up in the next few hrs. Super excited.

I live in Pac NW (Oregon, outside of Portland). Got 4 kids and the truck will be used for river stuff (fishing, tubing), sports eq (football, basketball, and baseball), general hauling, hunting, and (maybe) a travel trailer. Hoping for a canopy soon.

    Great to be here,
    Tom

Welcome aboard! She’s a beaut. Nice score on the BBS Pro wheels. Might ditch the chin bar. Live the color, but I’m biased.

I also really like the color. I kinda like the chin bar - but maybe I'll drop it. Any particular reason to ditch it? I know it's purely anesthetic.

Pros: bull bar is a place to mount a light bar if so desired.
Cons: appearance is personal preference. I had one on my 2000 for a while, don’t think it looks up to date enough for my 2019. Don’t need it to mount a lightbar. Doesn’t protect you in a collision, just collapses into the bumper and creates damage anyway.
