Does anybody know why this sticker might be on my door frame? What modifications might this refer to?

It's never been in the shop or taken to Toyota for any reason. I just happened to notice it today.

I have one. It could be because they added something at the port after the trucks actual capacity was issued by Toyota. It's more of a cover their ass sticker. 10lbs is crap.

I was thinking the same thing. Why bother with a 10lb reduction sticker? Do you have steel rims?

Have running boards? My truck added the sticker due to the dealer installed boards.

10 lbs.? That's like a console safe or rubber floormats.

Mine has the same sticker, but load reduction of 91lbs. I’m guessing it is the step rails.

Custom bug spat pattern hood, grill & bumper. Dead Live Oak leaf collection under hood, cowl and lower fenders. Beach sand custom floor covering.
Port installed bed liner, locking tailgate, floormats and that damned owner's portfolio cost me 53 pounds.

Toyota should have hired better mathematicians. Five kilograms equals ELEVEN pounds, not ten!! If I were you I'd lawyer up and sue the shit out of them.

I have one also. Reduction of 138lbs. I assume it is for the ARE bed cap. But I also have factory spray liner and running boards so not positive.

I was wondering if Line-x put it on but then I saw my Vin number on it.

I'm surprised they'd bother. I mean, if I put my dog in the bed, it would theoretically de-rate my payload more than 10lbs.

To make a sticker for a 5 kg deduction is a little trivial.

Unfortunately in the world we live in it’s necessary as a CYA measure.

In general, it's used for a port or dealer added option.
