That's really beautiful. Being on the opposite end of the Country, I always wondered how it was growing up there.

 

We’re probably gonna hit 100+ temps here next week. I am not looking forward to it. At least here, it cools off quickly in the evening. With a little effort, we’ll be able to open up the house in the evening and close it up around 8 or 9 in the morning and store the cool inside.

 

I think the low here has stayed in the 80’s.

I actually grew up in California, but that was a bit before all the fktardary... I enjoyed it from the perspective that we were close to mountains, close to the ocean, plenty of trees and farmland and temps were fairly mild (not too hot not too cold)

 

I have spent (between phoenix, Yuma, Death Valley, Florence, etc) so many months working when the night time low was never below 100, that I don’t think you can tell me anything new about the damn heat. I would bet that nobody on this forum has spent as many actual hours outside in the summer southwest as I have. Lots of people live there but have air conditioned office jobs and they scurry from their offices to their car.
Not the same thing.
