We give all of our painted parts orders 4-6 weeks of lead time (which is "on-track"). Our self-imposed shipping delay is over and we are working through all our super late orders so we can get back on track with shipment.

 

Most definitely! Anytime you try to color match something there’s always the chance of some sort of variance in the color. I am extremely happy with the finished product, especially for the price and ease of installation. I just wish this model trim had a color matched option with blackout features. Just say no to chrome!

 

While I agree, that would kill our business. Then we'd have to sell chrome stuff and I REALLY don't want to talk to anyone who LOVES chrome

Just checked it again, working as it should. However, the top bar floats when scrolling on the page, making it impossible to click shop by make and choose Toyota.

 

I removed it. Shopping that way was a complicated mess anyway.

No one has received this color yet. Our painter is polishing them today! We expect them to be shipped out by the end of the week along with a few Army Greens

I'll get some pics before I PPF it. Didn't have time during the install process. Color matches VERY good...I have color matched fender flares from paintedoemparts and now the shellz.....neither is a 110% match but they're both just as close. Closer than the wrap I had planned on using, and this will last a lot longer than the wrap too.

Okay, I lied. I just got the Go-Ahead to push this product forward. We're close enough to release, I have enough pricing information, a box size, and our only bottleneck is painting, which is an entirely different process. This one is MGM?

Oh yeah, we sell TUFSKINS stuff. They make what is esscentially an easier version of vinyl wrap.

 

Stopped by EC1's shop today where they were nice enough to install an MGM grill surround and give me a tour of the shop!

Everything looks great, and seems like those rear bumper covers should be ready soon!

 

How is the color match on MGM? I have the same color and very interested in purchasing this. Is there a “hump” from the grille to the hood? Or does it sit flush? Trying to see how level it sits with the hood.

 

Color match is very close, But not perfect. The attached photo should help you determine whether there is a hump, but i do not see one.

They do not market this as a perfect match, and it is priced well below what you would pay for a painted oem part. The installation is also much simpler than an oem replacement part.

 

I got a bit of your temp plate in the videos I shot. Noticed you doodled it out here. I'll make sure my final cut obscures most of it and/or doesn't contain it. Regardless, that truck looks gooood!

The rears need a little more work. Sounds like I'll be reaching out to our friend Ed to see if he can help. We'll probably have his truck the entire day if we can get him in.

Coupled with our instruction sheet you'll get a green quarter sheet of paper reminding you to do a dry fit and explaining how to ensure the color match is to your satisfaction. There are quite a few photos in this thread that show the side angle you're looking for. @digitalwiz has one and a couple of others. There shouldn't be any kind of "hump", that would defeat the purpose of our parts.
