Went to the stealership. $2.79 a bolt , not bad for OEM

Not bad at all. I paid more than that for a UBJ castle nut recently going direct to the stealership a couple weekends ago. Most of 'em hit you at MSRP, for some bolts that's as much as $5, $7, $8, $10. What I normally find is, ordering online that magically drops to $1.50 - $4, respectively. I used to love walking into my local stealership to pick up an order knowing they were gonna charge me $30 and I walked out paying $13 after tax.

I told my local stealer that the online guys gave me ~ 30% discount, and asked if he'd consider giving me 10%...he looked at me as if I had just asked to sleep with his wife!

I had a similar reaction. I showed him the price McGeorge had and he couldn't believe it. He did give me a slight discount though. Next time we should ask to sleep with their wife first that way the follow up request for a discount will seem more reasonable.

My local dealer parts people messed up on motor mounts, ordered the plates instead of the actual rubber, I asked them to honor the online price and they hesitantly agreed. They are usually pretty cool, I’ll go in just to verify part numbers, go out in the truck and order it and come back the next day for free pickup

Yup, that's not what you want rolling into the parking lot. Or anywhere else for that matter.

The back windows on my 03 pop open when someone slams my doors. They rattle when I hit bumps in the road too

I might try and ziptie the latches

I have started to get a rattle when I hit good-sized bumps, seems to be coming from the latch where my driver-side rear door latches/the B-pillar area/where driver seatbelt attaches. Almost sounds like a door that's not shut all the way, with a little bit of a "pop" sounds. Keep remembering to look at it after I have already hit the road, but forgetting by the time I get there. May need to get up in there with some spray lube.

That's exactly what I'm experiencing but I thought it was the back windows because their latches are loose

Just redid my latches a month or so ago so (at least for me) it’s not that.

My windows rattle if I have them rolled up less than half-open. Basically anywhere from about 70% closed to 99% closed, I get rattles over bumps. Both driver side windows.

In other vehicles I've had, I've experienced what you describe when the bulb seal gets worn out on the door.

Yet another camshaft position sensor error, P1340. Why can I neither buy a Tundra 4x4 crewcab SR5 or Ranger Raptor right now? lol

Trying to figure out why I’m getting some bizzare noise like plastic flapping in the wind for the last couple days after it downpoured and water got in the headliner of my vehicle.

You’d think trapped water would sound different.

Wish I could test drive one. With 3 kids and living on acreage, I've been more for a full size truck. Hate to order one not knowing. I think the days of buying new vehicles and selling them for a premium are coming to an end. Already bored with my Titan.

I saw that coming a mile away :boink:

If I had the disposable income, I'd seek out a Cummins Titan just for fun and see if I could mod it into a monster.

How do you suppose water got in there? Leaking front or rear glass? Third brake light?

My 03 was leaking from the windshield and it was coming out my sunglasses holder and draining into my cup holders.

Mine is the same as yours. I’m not sure what’s causing the issue. I might record the sound tomorrow as it’s incredibly annoying. I’m ready to rip the headliner down but I still don’t know if it’s just water that needs to evaporate.
