It's titanium (cuts down on vibration, also allows to swing harder since it's lighter) with a a lot of features, you can basically rebuild this thing (handle, head, etc). If I were swinging all the time, I'd own one. I just have an 19z Vaughan cali framing hammer ($45), does what I need. I didn't even spend the extra $60 for a stilletto, even though that would have been nice to have titanium and a little lighter.

Are you a plumber or just like tools? I am not a plumber but recently picked up a M12 propress. No regrets.

@Prostar 190 you been over to Home Depot lately? I read last night that Klein tools are on clearance since HD is dropping them and Klein is moving over to Lowe’s. Might try to sneak over there today and check it out. Could be a good time to pick up some random tools that’ll only get used in specialty situations

No I haven't but I heard the same thing. Lowe's is dropping Ideal brand so they are on sale there. You are right a great time to capitalize on some stuff.

I looked at those and Stiletto. Both were out of my budget for home jobber projects so I grabbed a Vaughn.

Have you tried a Stiletto and compared them?

Great now I’ve got to make a Home Depot run today and look for more tools I don’t need! Thanks for the heads up though, hope mine has some deals.

I've only had the Martinez since last week so hard to give a great answer. But I believe I like the Martinez better. But don't get me wrong I also really like the Stiletto. The titanium hammers are so worth it if you use one for a living.

It's solar powered and a case is optional for a small fee.

Its a nice hammock! We picked up 1 and used it and then I think we bought like 2 more just have have extra and spares. Beats the 60+ that the other packable hammocks go for.

It? No it's a she and I'm sure she tells you what to do!

Good looking hammer. But, when it comes to hammers, lighter doesn't always mean better. If you have to swing it harder, you defeat the purpose. You don't need to swing a heavy hammer harder. Physics isn't magic.

I can definitely drive the nail just as fast with a titanium hammer as a heavy one with a lot less fatigue and elbow pain. Guarantee if you tried one after swimming one all day you would a believer.
