8.5” lift, 26” rims, 37” tires, custom painted suspension and interior, DV8 upgrades, and full audio overall
Anyone running 6” or better lifts. I just learned that the axles are different and Iv been chasing drive line vibrations and was wondering if anyone else has any issues. Seeing the front axles are different I’m thinking that is where it’s coming from.

The red painted axles? Pretty sure they’re the same. Wouldn’t that much lift require a diff drop? You’re probably running the CV joint and the propeller shaft joints right at the edge. When you put too much angle into u-joints especially, you get vibrations.

Yes I have diff drop brackets on there. I have the black axles. It only began after I installed the front bumper and winch and had to raise the struts up 1.5” to level it back out.

You're getting vibrations because the angle of your 3rd member is not cancelling out the angle off of the TC/transmission + the angle off of the center carrier bearing.

Yes actually if your vibration is in 2H then it is the prop shaft as stated above.
