LOL!! Not quite yet! We're getting it back together and just rolling it for now. This is the Dave Ramsey mobile, I just couldn't bring myself to roll a buick....Once we pay off the Tundra and pay cash for a Sequoia, then this will be our drift car

Well, the previous owner threw a lot of new parts at it and it still wouldn't crank. We have tracked it down to the Anti theft system. We ran a charge to it after we replaced the terminals a moment ago and the alarm started blaring. Its got some crappy body repair done to it but we'll strip it down after a couple years and put it in the shop and drop some $$$$ in it.

Man I always will be down for a AE86! But I really missed my last GS, it was on its way to be super nice car but we wanted a house more! When I ran across this one even my wife agreed we couldn't pass it up! A lot easier to build on a cash car!

 

Never seen a GS build I haven't liked. Thought about getting one as a daily, but can't find one unmolested.

 

Ya I need to get my 86 running... needs a wiring harness for it... god those are a pita to find....

I hear ya! That's why we jumped on this one! It needs some love but my wife and I know these cars in and out. We had just started dating when I bought my black 2003 model

 

Was pure sarcasm. Drove a BMW 3-Series that had a welded diff, E30 gen. Total drift missle, horrible to drive.

Dude I see rust bucket AE's going for 4k easy here in DFW. Full harness is damn near impossible!!

 

The only way to turn is to drift the corner!

 

And those are probably not even gts. They suck to find a 4age harness for and no one makes them after market...

 

And that was the problem haha.

 

Could find someone to do a custom harness. Or I could ask a friend or two in Japan to see if they could source you one.

 

I've been chatting with a few guys online about a custom one but they don't seem all that interested in doing it... even if I went with different injectors and Ecu... one guy seemed like he might be willing but they when I asked what all I'd need to send him he ghosted me. Sucks dick.

Seth if you have that ability would you be willing to check for me?

Not sure if it is the OEM system or not but I know aftermarket security systems can be tricky. That is a steal or a deal! You could sell the doors and hood alone and make your money back if you want to.
