I edited the post. I knew he ran out of something fuel related. Prospeed doesnt consider high 10 afr's safe at WOT or running around with maxed out injectors. Thats just what they told me.

My thought process was to buy a turn key kit from a company that has done all the r&d and call it a day. They didnt provide any info regarding tweaks needed to make everything work "correctly" and ive had to solve each issue as they come up. Now I know why they push to have people take their trucks to them..

    well, not the truck....

I did tow a trailer this weekend....which was fun. I now tip my hat to all you folks, with a blower, that tow regularly. it's a beast.

it was always a smidge away from boost. any change in speed or elevation, aggravated the bypass. instant 3mpg.

I think mine with the provided pump and 650cc injectors on the 80mm is tuned even richer than 10.0 at WOT. I don’t even know, but at full throttle mine will sit right at 10.0 and my AEM gauge doesn’t even show richer than that so who knows how rich it really is. 86% injector duty cycle.

Low 10's and ~75% inj duty cycle. For the two weeks I was dialed in, I was high 9's at WOT and 71% inj duty cycle on the 80mm

Okay, so similar to what most places seem to do and the rule of thumb I've been going by of targeting 10.5 and ideally your max DC is 80%.

Pops dropped the trailer off for some work. Drove from Utah back to AZ saw 13mpg no trailer including frequent blasts over 110mph during passing situations. Not bad, said he could probably see 15mpg no problem. 8mpg while towing the 7.5k trailer

@V10Ace anyway you can bypass the external fuel filter? Partial clog restricting under higher pressure. Just thinking simple things...

I was still on the stock Stage 1 85mm Harrop pulley while the stock injectors were hitting 100% duty cycle.

The Harrop supplied DW300 340 LPH pump is not an issue yet, and currently it is driving the 650cc injectors on the 80mm pulley. Running mid 10s AFR at WOT.

I tend to agree that it’s probably something like that, or a faulty pump or bad hose connection over an electrical issue. @V10Ace does it go lean even under partial throttle, and not just WOT? I could see the fuel module/wiring being an issue at full WOT for a sustained period and going a tad lean but not so much behaving as you described it in a prior post. I’d throw the 80mm on and see if there is still a problem with fuel pressure, if so I’d be checking the pump out maybe?

I'm eye balling the regulator directly at this point as it's not increasing with boost... the wideband problem will be another after fuel pressure is solved. No fuel leaks in the engine bay or back to the in line filter. If this relay doesn't fix it, I'm thinking it's an issue inside the tank again. I'm going to test out relay and swapping pulley back to 80mm on Sunday.

I've only put ~1500 miles on the truck since the fuel system was installed and it's behaving similar to when we had a loose line in the tank. :frusty:

Are you running the aeromotive reg? They had some issues with the diaphragm not adjusting with the bearing against it.

I’ll have to calculate when I’m back from my work trip. I bet 17-18 isn’t far fetched since I’m lighter and no gfc

Nice! Really curious to find out if the fuel pump controller is operating differently on your 21.
Not sure if Rey’s dad is running his as a drop in. Seems like the drop in pumps that keep the fuel filter and siphon/jet pump thing work well. :notsure: Don’t have to deal with cobbled together fuel lines in the basket also.
