I’m trying to disconnect any and all GPS tracking on my 2023 Tundra. Where is the actual device located on the truck and can it be removed?

Oh my! I think you should ask your dealer service manager for assistance to make sure you don't screw up and void any warranty.

Even if so, then a device can always be applied to the vehicle afterwards.

The 22/23 has enough issues. I wouldn't go messing with it.

I would make sure your phone isn't being tracked, before the vehicle.

Track who you think might be tracking you and be ready to adapt quickly.

    Here's the bottom line...

Most of your antennas that are tied to GPS, Radio and satellite signals originate at the 'sharkfin' which is located on the roof of your truck near the 3rd brake light:

Problem is several functions within the ECU is routed through some of the signals being sent/received through the shark fin. So, if you disconnect, take it off, etc. you'll probably have drivability issues w/the truck; that will lead to error codes, potential roof leaks, and difficulty re-selling the vehicle.

Plus, as already mentioned, aftermarket GPS/tracking devices are so inexpensive now, if someone wants to know where you're at it's not difficult to put a 'tracker' on your vehicle and monitor your activities that way.

If you truly believe that you need to travel w/o detection, I'd suggest getting an inexpensive temporary vehicle that's much older and w/o the new tech and run around in that thing until your situation resolves; rental cars are another option, but they are crazy expensive now so you gotta have $$ to do that.

Your efforts would probably be better served by receiving some good situational awareness training that include practical exercises in your daily environments; online and internet-based training of this nature just doesn't cut it....

Fuel delete mod Cup holder upgrade
I would present your situation to Toyota services and ask them to remotely disable that feature in the app.
Something to consider is it still doesn't stop some one from putting an aftermarket GPS on your vehicle.

Both Apple and Android have apps that allow you to find unauthorized airtags and other Bluetooth GPS devices in the area. This should help eliminate that worry.
