@V10Ace, @snivilous, Do either of you think that the WB might need to be calibrated like the Innovate ones? I think that the Innovate ones had to be run once in the open air in order to have an established reference. I could be remembering it wrong though.

I haven't seen a calibration procedure for the AEM except for setting voltage values for tuning software. The only test is take out sensor turn on ign (will get warm)and should lean out to 18. Spray brake cleaner on shop rag should rich out 8.5. Then back to open air for full lean. Re-install if all good. AEM charges I believe $50 to look at and gauge.

Idk, I didn't do that last time and it seemed like the sensor was just offset a fixed amount without the calibration.

Im apparently having a fuel issue as the regulator isnt reading what it should be. We changed exhaust and pulley and now this issue. Think im gonna revert back to 80mm pulley for shits and giggles? Maybe fuel pump is pulling too much draw on oem wiring? I recall that being an issue

Are you running aeromotive regulator? They have some issues as well. My brother swears by dw regulators. Process of elimination...
Just putting it out there is the 267 pump draws 14 amps on the oem wiring.

When I installed my new engine my AEM gauge was having issues. I called AEM and they only recommended installing a new uego sensor or sending in my gauge. A new sensor solved my issue. Not sure on the newer gauges. A call to AEM may be in order...

I concur with this. I installed my innovate and didn’t do the open air calibration at first. AFRs were all over the place, down into the 8s and everywhere in between. I would explore calibrating the sensor.

Sending a 2k mile oil pull to Blackstone today. (2k on the SC, 2K on the oil) I always go slightly high & it has lost no perceptible oil so still full.

I pulled it out of the dipstick tube, we'll see if there is anything going on in there.

Ive been fed bits and pieces this whole project. Their website says i can just cut the wire between module and pump... shouldn't have to drop tank for that unless access maybe?

You are still using the smaller gauge OEM wiring, my thinking was it's not all that much of an upgrade unless it is direct to the pump but what do I know, I'll let smarter minds respond.

14 gauge runs from the module to pump. It is the minimum that the 450lph requires, heavier gauge is preferred. Running the heavy gauge into the light gauge wire will cause an increase in heat an cause a drop in amperage. You won't see the benefits of the increase from the relay wire kit.

Nice to see confirmation from someone that people trust. I always suspected the fuel pump controller was holding it back, which is why I bypassed it with dedicated wiring.

Good to know. Just going by I believe ampracity where you have 2 different gauge wires losing amperage...I stand corrected. haha

Can watch fuel pump duty cycle with obd monitor or techstream. There are 3 duty cycles, max is 90% on my 2018. Don’t know if something changed on the 19-21.

I have been getting reports from them since 2010, the average time to get a report is usually 7 days from when the mailman picks up my sample.

I'm going to have to check on my app if It has that. I know some pids are calculated vs actual. Judging by my AFR I don't seem to have issues. Time will tell once I get it tuned officially. Note that I have not had this issue at all. No reason it should be now with the only fuel change being larger injectors from greens to 750cc's

Interesting. No issues on the old mans whipple and smaller pulley. He's running 650cc and a DW 340lph pump. 2018 truck

You should be 90% max duty cycle according to service manual, but I’ve only verified on my 18. It’s actual, even see a slight bump in the fuel pressure when it switches.

Someone with a 19-21 needs to watch duty cycle.
