I would prefer to find a sub 8 foot lite weight pop up model. Anyone have experience with one of these? Brand? Make? Models? Know of any that are available? Not afraid to travel.
    Please chip in! Thanks

You talking about one of these? Or one of the camper shells like in my photo?

Yes like to find a regular pop up slide in camper as shown in that thread.

Well I happen to be selling my camper. It fit great in my 2003 AC, but not sure where you're located.

    Here's the listing. https://classifieds.ksl.com/listing/72692952

I will say from my experience looking at these, look for something that isn't too heavy. Look for solid construction (wood or aluminum frame) and a one piece roof. Avoid Palomino, forest river, etc. They are known for falling apart or leaking, and I have heard from people who have cracked them on rough dirt roads. Northstar, 4wheel camper, lance are known to be good quality and last.

Looks like a very nice unit. I am hoping to find a nice older model honestly. Good luck.

I am likely to be looking at the lower end models in reality. This rig will not see rough terrain travel. Gravel roads and some fire roads in Wi, Minn etc at very worst.
I've been looking at some Sunlite models that appear to be lightweight. Finding something clean and reasonable will take some time.

I've seen sunlite and skamper models that are older and seem to last a while. You could get lucky and find an older 4wheel camper. Just be patient and get the option that will work best for you.
