I can't see it, but I can hear it hit when I open the cover lid. I think these covers are only in 1794 and platinum's. I really don't want to have to tear my console apart to get to it.
Any thoughts or ideas on how to get it? thinking maybe a wire or something to fish it out?

Suck it up! Got a shop vac and a wet towel to wrap up around the area?

I didn’t spend the money to just swap out stuff.
    What a first world problem.

Thanks, actually, I just finished watching that before I posted. That, and another guy that pulled just his center console - both trd pro's. I might try the other guy's shop vac/wet towel idea. I tried earlier today with just a regular vacuum, but it didn't have enough suction...I also tried to pull it out, with a section of weed whacker (plastic/metal) whip to see if I could get to it that way, no luck.

Unfortunately, the end is to large on that - if it was just the grasping teeth, that might work. I might look at the auto parts store later.

I was thinking maybe a car wash vacuum for max suction would be my next option. Just guessing since I have no idea what the situation looks like.

Yeah, mine's not like that one, is no wider than around 3/16" tube at the end. Just grabbed the first picture I could find online, but you get the idea.

Here is a picture of a 1794 - the red line, is an almost 0 clearance edge. There is more open space on the back side of this cover as you can see in the second pic as he is closing it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKYakWIy1yg - at 12:27 or so into the video.

Oh man. Yes, that is pretty tight. I'd try the shop vac, like 2mchfun said otherwise, I might just leave it alone assuming it isn't making too much noise.

What's the receipt for? Winning powerball ticket I can understand taking the truck apart to get, but most receipts I don't think I'd put this much effort into retrieving.

Find a piece of steel pallet banding material and apply a strip of scotch double sided tape to it and go fishing. Again, I'm not putting a bunch of serious thought into it, just throwing ideas out.

Every time (which isn't often) I open/close that lid, you can hear the paper crunch below... at some point, I'd imagine it might stop... or not. ;) more irritating then not... and yes, if it was powerball ... I'd have already taken it apart. :) LOL.

OP, just admit it’s a receipt for HK in TJ and we will understand and get serious.

Fixed this... it was actually easier then I imagined. Though the reason I ended up doing it, wasn't fun... I was broken into - smashed my passenger side window and took a crowbar to my console safe.... anyhow, gouged the top of the cup holder wood grain cover. So, I replaced the safe/window/cupholder. Tore apart the center console, and found that there is a bowl like wrap around the bottom of the cup holder, probably to keep liquid /dirt from getting down onto the wires and such below - anyhow, when I took that off to replace the cupholder, the paper fell out. fixed...
