    Ok guys.....Actually.....this was the socket/ball part of a temporary hip joint device used until my permanent prosthetic was implanted July 4th.
    Doc let me keep it for posterity I guess.:D A $ 5,500.00 chunk of titanium he said.
    (Talk about a long strange trip I've had the last 8 months dealing with all this hip bollocks)

    If it's the ball portion of the hip, it is likely Cobalt Chrome, not Ti. Guess what......more CHROME!! Plastidip it!
