Neighbors pulled up every beautiful, mature red yucca in their entire front yard and were going to toss them. Wife says, “ooh, I want those!” I had literally just mixed up a batch of Ospho and had been outside with my truck all day, but….sure.

Was actually a good interlude to do some beer drankin’ and show off for the missus (who couldn’t give less of a flip about truck work), but it’s all Tundra related because they needed a stump pulled, so hooked up a chain, put it in 4LO and got her done.

I think my wife mildly appreciated the truck.

New Belgium fruit force ipa. Not a fan. 5 more to go. Oh well. Fruit punch and beer, not a stellar combo.

Not sure if y’all get Shiner beers distributed up in the PnDub, but they usually have a few very fruity beers they cycle through annually—watermelon, prickly pear, their Christmas beer has fruitcake….that sort of thing. I try them all because they’re local, but got damn some of them are hard to power through.

I don't remember the package breakdowns. I swear @BubbaW posted that info somewhere around here. TRD included Bilsteins IIRC, and I don't remember what else. Maybe it varied year to year. Dunno.

Damn, what's up with that f'n blue alien? Is it trying to eat the dog?!

I can't imagine he doesn't. We get Lagunitas all the way over here :D

Kronik, Hop Stoopid, 420 Undercover, Lil Sumpin were some of my faves along the way. Maximus when it made it here.

Have you tried their hop water? I was shocked. Actually refreshing and ... good? I have a friend who had to quit drinking, always try to bring a few with me to events, but it's been scarce lately.

I keep forgetting how big they’ve gotten. I remember when they were a microbrew, guess a lot has changed. One of my ex’s long ago took me on their brew tour. Their IPA was my go to as well as little sumpin’ sumpin’. Their hop water is good and surprisingly refreshing. I have found a few other na beers that are better but too expensive for flavored water. Found a few pics from back in 2015:

Their IPA is really solid, or was back then, there's so much nowadays to choose from that, while it was stellar at the time, there's a lot of fish in the sea to try out.

I will tell you, if you're an IPA guy, and you're anywhere near the place, Cooperage just north of the bay blew my damn mind. Half of the beers on the menu were IPAs, and I tried ever damn one of them, they were all unique and stupidly good. Especially if you remotely enjoy NE/hazies and they had some solid westies too.

My wife got to be an NA beer expert during one of her pregnancies; honestly they all suck. Will have to try out that hopwater though, sounds interesting.

Have you ever been involved in the brewing process, or gotten your hands on a hop pellet? Or crushed a hop flower? (I have hops growing in my yard)

If you know that smell of opening a bag of hop pellets, crushing a hop flower, imagine slightly sweetened carbonated water that tastes like that smell, and you pretty much have their hoppy water.

Well, isn't this part for the course?

Dog alerts me to someone at the door. "Aha! Jackstands are here!"

Yup. They dropped off one box. Other box is still 'out for delivery'. Guess I sit and wait for the driver to realize they forgot a package?

Amazon often ships me different orders on different trucks on the same day...but they also manage to lose roughly 1 out of 10 orders.

Don't mind me asking, where is that ?

We had weird locations for VORs but that one is unusual.

    nah - that's UPS doesn't have a/c. For now.
Thing is, the diad tells them if they are scanning the wrong package, or not enough packages for the address. D'oh.

Looks like I’m selling off my fj trail team wheels which I planned for snows on my FGT.

so, if I were to buy anything else, at this point I’m thinking 17’s.

and I think, given a target of 32-33” diameter, probably 17x8 if not wider.

I think there is no Toyota wheel in this size? So pure aftermarket only?

I cough more now than I did when I was smoking.

Is that normal from you fellow former smokers?

    Is that my lungs healing?

Wife got lucky, she didn't deal with it. With me, it lingered for me for a solid 4-6 months, but I also spent much of my adult life with massive sinus issues eventually fixed by surgery, so it just felt like one long, dragged out sinus infection honestly. Think of it as a hangover ... this is your body basically being grateful it's over and trying to express to you, "ya dun f'd up, please don't do that to me again".

Hang in there dude. It's worth it.
